This newly remodeled home with private dock sits right on the edge of the Crystal river with a one of a kind view of Kings Bay. View of natural spring and Manatees from property, gas grill for cooking out, large lot for parking truck/trailer, 2nd story balcony that overlooks the Crystal River. Right around the corner from Plantation. Access to large floating dock for swimming, boat parking and kayak launch. 2 tandem and 2 single kayaks included with rental.

Loved it!

We absolutely loved being on the water. The place was clean and the host was very attentive and accommodating. We got there earlier than expected and the host was flexible with letting us check in a little early! We also loved the use of the kayaks, we were able to explore the area and make stops for food or drinks. We really liked the waterfront social. We had fun swimming with manatees too! We would love to return and enjoy more of the springs!

We left the location of the house. It was right over the water and you could see it on all sides. We loved that there was a floating dock that we had access to and we love that we got to see manatees right outside our door! Both Memphis and Zac were super accommodating hosts and made it feel like home

Perfect for our needs. Clean and comfortable in an awesome setting and only minutes to the boat launch. Close to all necessary amenities.

Great Location

Loved our stay at this VRBO and love Crystal River!!Nice location and views of the inlet and canals were beautiful. Saw Manatees and numerous wildlife. So quiet and peaceful. Will definitely return and stay there.

Amazing location

Beautiful river front location with every amenity needed plus. Apartment was newly remodeled and updated, even had a countertop icemaker! Spectacular views from every window allowed us to see manatee at almost anytime of the day. Community dock adjacent to property made it very easy to launch our paddle boards. Definitely staying again next year.

Wonderful Stay - Beautiful Location!

We made a quick trip to Crystal River on our way home from Florida. This boat house location is perfect. The house is recently renovated, has all the amenities, and we perfectly clean. The kayaks provided were great! Owner is very responsive. Will definitely return when in the area. Thank you for allowing us access to this little slice of paradise.

Beautiful view!

We stayed here for a couple nights so we could swim with the manatees in the springs. Highly recommend! This property is located in the perfect location and easy to get around to the springs and places to eat. Beautiful view of the bay out of every window of the house. The beds were very comfortable and the house was very clean. The owner was quick to answer any questions we may have had. We highly recommend this place to stay and we would definitely stay here again!

Crystal River Boathouse

Location was great, right on Crystal River. Boathouse was decorated nicely. The only problem we encountered was the newly installed heat pump. It was installed in a locked room between the two bedrooms (possibly a closet?). It was extremely loud when it came on, as if it was.installed incorrectly. Actually shook the headboard in one of the bedrooms! We did let Memphis know about this. We only stayed one night, instead of two nights, because we didn’t sleep well.Hopefully, this issue has been fixed.

Just as good the second time!

We stayed here last summer and immediately booked again to come when it was colder to see the manatees! It was absolutely amazing. We kayaked, went to the spring's viewing area and saw hundreds of manatees in crazy clean water, cooked a great dinner and just enjoyed the view. This is a very special place!

Escape to Florida’s Nature Coast

We thoroughly enjoyed Captain Memphis, both as a VRBO host and charter boat Captain. His boathouse was clean and fully equipped with 180 degree water views, modern amenities, and a friendly community vibe! His boat was also clean and safe and his knowledge of fishing and sight-seeing his home Crystal River was amazing! Manatees and wildlife in every direction. We just worry that this hidden gem will soon be discovered! Just a great getaway!!

Newly remodeled old school boathouse with a beautiful view

You can tell they put a lot of time and thought into redoing this boathouse. There was nothing we wanted but more time there. The kitchen has all the utensils needed to cook. The beds are comfortable and the central AC worked great. We thoroughly enjoyed our cocktails on the balcony watching the boats and kayakers. We look forward to returning someday.

Great stay at a great place with a great host

Absolutely charming old florida boathouse that is updated and extremely clean. Location is awesome with a great view. Wonderful to be able to relax on balcony and look out over water after a day on the boat. Host is phenomenal. He and his brother are fishing guides that we also had trip with. Their services are second to none. You will not regret booking a stay and a charter.
