Summary:
Welcome to our magnificent private villa in Belize, an ideal retreat for families and friends. Located on the Placencia Lagoon and across the street from the Placencia Resort, which we have deeded access to enjoy all of their beachfront amenities. Offering a private beach, fitness center, pool with swim up bar, free shuttle service from Placencia airport, kayaks and more. Enjoy the privacy of a villa while adding the extras of resort amenities when you choose.

The Space:
Enjoy the exclusivity of your private vacation rental with the benefits of access to the down the street Placencia resort's amenities. As ad added bonus there you can enjoy free kayaking, an onsite spa, gym, pool and swim up bar, pier, free shuttle pickup to the Placencia airport via Tropic Air or Maya Air, free parking. Stay on the iconic Placencia lagoon and across the way from the beach as well as 1 block from the Placencia resort and all of its amenities when you wish you enjoy them. This villa is in a private gated home community.

LOCATION: Discover the captivating Maya Beach Village, nestled within the picturesque Stann Creek District of Belize, situated along the renowned Placencia Peninsula. Maya Beach is a small community on the Placencia Peninsula, which is known for its 14 miles of natural beachfront, excellent restaurants, and fun beach bars. It's a perfect base for tours when you're contemplating jungle and ruins tours as well as water activities like fishing, diving or snorkeling. Maya Beach is 8 miles from Placencia Village and 4 miles from Seine Bight Village. Nearby are so many adventure options- diving, snorkeling, boating, fishing, Mayan ruins, cave swimming, off-roading and so much more. Free Shuttle Pickup at the Placencia Airport located 15 minutes from this property.

CHECK-IN & CHECK-OUT: Check-in is any time after 3PM and check-out is any time before 11AM. An early check-in or late check-out time may be available, please inquire about pricing a few days before check in for availability.

SPACE: This is a large 3 story private villa that is 3000 sf.

MASTER BEDROOM: Features a king size bed and ensuite bathroom with rain shower, jacuzzi tub, and smart TV.

HALF BATH: Located on the main living room floor

KITCHEN: Fully stocked kitchen with everything you'd need to cook at home during your stay.

LIVING ROOM: Boasts an open concept design, providing a seamless flow between indoor and outdoor spaces. You are greeted by the breathtaking sight of floor-to-ceiling windows that offer panoramic views of the glistening water. The natural light floods the entire space, creating an airy and inviting atmosphere that instantly puts you at ease. Enjoy a movie on the sofa or lookbehind you for captivating sunsets on the wraparound terrace.

OUTDOOR SPACE: The villa's outdoor area features a charming and spacious wraparound terrace with magnificent lagoon views. There is a private backyard that is lagoon front. The yard is not fenced but hedged for privacy.

AMENITIES: Enjoy the privacy of a vacation rental with all the luxury and exclusive deeded access to The World Famous Placencia Resort just accrues the street from this private villa community. Private beach, fitness center, beach and pool sun loungers, beach towels, complimentary area shuttle; Complimentary water-sports, volleyball, kayak, paddle boards, bikes, spa are among the extras you can expect along with this stunning home rental.

PARKING: In the event that a guest intends to rent a car or arrives with their own vehicle, it is mandatory to inform us ahead of time as your vehicle will need to be registered for access to the property. Please note that there is sufficient space available for one vehicle in front of the property.

EXTRAS: We offer concierge services to our guests. Wishing to rent a boat, engage a chef, or book a massage? Our concierge can arrange these and more upon your request. We would like to clarify that these local, third-party services are facilitated by the managing host and bear no connection with the property owner. The booking of any optional add-ons signifies the renter's agreement to absolve the property owner of any claims related to these third-party activities. We are pleased to arrange housekeeping during your stay, upon request, and at your cost. We reserve the right to assess fines for excessive cleaning, trash removal, and property damage.There is a mid stay cleaning fee as requested of $100 which you can book anytime you wish.

GUEST SCREENING: You may be required to follow a check in procedure for security and fraud prevention purposes that will verify your identity, payment method and booking prior to receiving your check in instructions. Once you pass the screening process your booking will be confirmed.

WHAT TO EXPECT: Spend your day enjoying the nearby amenities, the home and adventure activities that can be arranged for you at The Placencia. Aspiring to cultivate a wonderful stay we have anticipated your needs, stocking fresh linens, towels, essential toiletries, fundamental cooking utensils, and pantry basics (like olive oil, salt, etc.). If you intend to prepare a meal or require specific items, the House Guide stands by with further details, beneficial advice, and comprehensive protocols for guests.

WHAT TO DO WHILE YOU'RE HERE: Whether you're visiting during the busy summer arts festivals or during fishing season, you'll find plenty of things to do. We've assembled a list of our favorites in the House Guide, and we're happy to answer additional questions. There is a pool bar at The Placencia resort and an all day dining restaurant.

PROVISIONS: We extend a welcome with various essentials for your convenience, such as an ironing set, laundry facilities, complimentary WiFi, and Smart TVs catering to your favorite streaming platforms like Netflix. On display are toiletries, linens, and towels to enhance your comfort. However, we humbly point out that washcloths or kitchen towels do not form part of our linen service. Water is safe to drink but a large bottle water dispenser is provided for your convenience.

SAFETY: Our commitment to your wellbeing manifests in our adherence to all CDC cleaning and sanitation protocols. You can rest assured, as our dedicated team undertakes thorough disinfection measures in the unit. Surveillance cameras safeguard the property's exterior. Do not swim in the lagoon.

OBSERVATIONS: We enforce a no-smoking policy on our premises, and we humbly request consideration for our neighbors by maintaining a low noise level post 10pm. Violation of house rules or noise complaints may result in a cancellation and no refund. Parties + Gatherings: due to local community rules and guidelines set by the owner, parties and gatherings with guests in excess of the maximum guest count are prohibited at this property.

CLIMATE AND BIODIVERSITY: Our property nestles within a region offering year-round tropical conditions. Do remember to apply sunscreen and stay hydrated amidst the occasional bouts of tropical warmth and humidity, as well as potential rainstorms. We celebrate the rich biodiversity here, inclusive of diverse flora, reptiles, bugs, and more. Despite our frequent inspections and monthly pest control, you might encounter these native "visitors". We assure you of our ongoing efforts to regulate and control their presence.

Guest Access:
Full home will be at guest disposal. We are nearby and ready to help if there are any questions. We also offer full service concierge to our guests, should they need to book reservations, an in house massage, chef, boat or more.

The property gets access to the stunning Placencia hotel amenities as a bonus. From fishing, hiking, boating -this is the perfect destination for your most memorable vacation yet.

Getting Around:
This is an island so we suggest renting a car or a golf cart to get around as transportation is recommended. Captain Jacks is a golf cart rental and there are also a few car rental facilities on the island that you can explore to your liking.

Amazing home!

This was a beautiful home overlooking the sea. I cannot say enough about it. We found it to be just what we wanted and more! It is in a gated community and close to restaurants and excursions. It is a large home- we could’ve taken friends! If we had questions (and we did) the owner was quick to answer and resolve. I am already thinking I’d like to book this particular home every year!

Nice property

Stay Was good, property was very nice. Had issues with clothes dryer. There were no instructions at property. So had issues on how things worked at house. But property was good and everything and staff at the Placencia Resort was excellent
