Great week in Gulf Shores

The condo was plenty roomy enough for the four of us. We loved the location and quick access to many restaurants and not too far of a drive to the outlets, zoo and other areas of interest.

Great family trip!

Property was great for our whole family! The beach wasn’t too crowded and the elevator was fast. The office girls were so nice. We would stay here again!

Cleanest Condo

Everything was perfect. This is our 4th stay at Surfside Shores and this was my favorite condo. Usually there will be some sand on the floor since it’s so hard to clean, but this unit was spotless. Appliances all seem new/updated. AC worked great and kept the unit cool with no issues. Bathrooms were nice, with great water pressure in showers. Nicest TV I’ve had in a condo, big and has apps like YouTube, Hulu, etc. Also the keyless check in is SO nice! No trips to the office or remembering to bring a key with you, huge plus. Overall great condo!

The place was easy to find and when we arrived the check-in process was simple and smooth. Everything was very clean, and a few essentials were provided up front. The condo was spacious and didn’t feel crowded at all for 6 people. Be advised that the in-house WiFi is a little slow, but you’re probably not there for the internet access, anyway! The beach was clean and beautiful and while it wasn’t super crowded, it wasn’t empty, either. That being said, we had no trouble finding space to set up several umbrellas and many beach chairs for our group. The location is excellent, as there are many great restaurants and a small general store within walking distance or just a short car ride up the road. Lastly, we did not have any issues parking our vehicle at the condo, as there was always an available space. This property truly made our first visit to Gulf Shores easy and enjoyable, and we will definitely jump at the opportunity to come back!

Vacation 2022

The Condo was clean and had all the amenities we needed in the kitchen and everyday living for the week. The view of the gulf was amazing. We were very happy with our stay.

Perfect

The condo was just as described. We were on a girls trip and the condo was perfect. There were 5 of us and it was very accommodating. We would stay here again for sure. The complex was clean and the pool was great.

Excellent Vacation Choice!!!!

My kids and I had a wonderful time on our vacation. The condo was very clean, and had everything we needed Including a beautiful view of the gulf!!! I will definitely recommend this property to friends. The property owners were very easy to coordinate with. All our plans went off without a hitch! Stress Free!!

overall good stay, needed a few things.

The property is quiet, clean, secure. The view from the balcony was great, and the views from the two queen bedrooms were amazing as well. The balcony was big enough for the entire family to be there at the same time. The only real complaint was that the balcony railing was loose and didn't feel very secure. Security on site was nice and the pool was clean and inviting. We thought there was a Jacuzzi, but it is a kiddie pool instead. Great location, and well appointed.

Better than advertised

We saw more dolphins from the balcony than on the glass-bottom boat trip we took! For old mobility challenged people, it was incredible to be so close to the beach. And the beach service (professional umbrella and chairs) in the book in the condo was excellent. Each day gets cheaper, so just get it for the whole week. Poole & Associates are the easiest rental office I have ever dealt with. Quick in, quick out, quick answers to calls, and fast resolution of a minor issue.

Place was awesome

The condo was nice.Good size for a big family/or small.Had everything you needed.Pool area was nice.Right on the beach.Needed a few things fix but didn’t effect are stay.Just wish that beach chairs was included with the condo.Only bad thing happened was a wake up call at 2:50 am with the fire alarms going off.It was a little scary.And no one there to see what was going on.There is a person in a building in the data’s you come into parking area but no one at night.And seem like it took fire department forever.A lot of the attendance couldn’t hear the Alarms going off.And friday was a little wasted since everybody went back to bed and slept in.

Worked for our needs

The property itself was equipped with what we needed. Having 3 bedrooms & 3 bathrooms was a big bonus. The furnishings were adequate as well. The only complaints about the until itself we have were that there were still dirty towels on top of the washer from the previous renter as well as dishes in the dishwasher. Also, the biggest thing was the elevator was broken almost every day. We specifically chose a place with an elevator because we were 3 moms with 4 young kids ranging from 7 months to 7 years old. Carrying luggage and children up 7 flights of stairs was less than ideal. We did have a great time though. The location to the beach and all of the shops was awesome. We would rent again if we didn't have to deal with the elevator issue!

We enjoyed our stay. Nicely maintained complex. It would have been nice if unit provided beach equipment for families: umbrella, chairs & boogie boards. Beach equipment rental fees (as mentioned in the rental ad) were way too pricey for a family too afford. We purchased some beach things from Walmart but couldn't take them home because we flew in. They were only used for a week. I didn't want to throw them into the garbage where they'd end up in a land fill. We left them outside & hope someone noticed them and were able to use them. (We have stayed in other beach condos where there was beach equipment available for unit renters use as part of the condo use... and was a great selling feature!) Over all though, a nice vacation.

The communication with William, the owner was exceptional. He made sure we had every little thing we needed and offered suggestions for what we might like in the area. Beach access was great. The condo had pretty much every ammenity you could ask for. We hope to stay again on our next visit to Port A.

Needs some love.

This unit needs some love. The patio door going from living to patio would not close if you stay on the patio. We fixed it. The walls in the dining area need to be repaired. All the trim on the walls need to be repaired. Dryer will not dry towels unless you run it three times. The knob on the washer is missing. This unit was the cleanest we have ever stay in. Beds are awesome. Kitchen well stocked. I would stay there again if it could be brought up power.
