Perfect place for us while we were visiting our children at St George’s. Communication with host was seamless as was check in/check out process. Windy weather lead to brief power outages but did not have any issues when it returned a few hours later. House is spacious and clean. Will definitely stay here again!

The home was just as it appeared in the photos. Simple but cozy. The house was stocked with just about everything a person would need to use. The one thing we lacked was a working hair dryer. There was a hair dryer, but it did not work.

It was a wonderful location and had everything we needed for a girl's getaway. Very nice to be able to walk to the beaches, friendly neighbors, plenty of space. Newport is so lovely!I must warn you, though, that the Clue puzzle is missing a piece.

Very nice place close to the beach. 3 nice bedrooms, however one mattress in one of them wasn’t very comfortable (smaller room with seaview).Many amenities to enjoy, however it would have been nice to have wine glasses, salad spinner and placemats. All the rest was perfect, we enjoyed it very much! Thanks a lot

This was a great house! Perfect location to (Easton’s) First Beach. Well appointed and comfortable. Our dogs had a great time too. A very nice house all around will definitely go back.

Beautiful spacious home close to the beach

This was a wonderful spacious home for our group of five. It's well appointed with everything you need. Just minutes from the beach and a fantastic base for making the most of the sights of Newport. The hosts provide a folder full of useful information. Highly recommend this as a place to stay. Highly recommend this as a place to stay.

Hard to Leave Newport

A successful getaway to Newport at Christmas! Morning walks to the nearby beach and convenient couple minute drive to everything else. Home was great in all ways! Wonderful host!

I bought this house and met my husband at the Newport Blues Cafe on Thames St. within 3 months of moving in. We were engaged there and had our wedding reception right down the street at Easton's Beach. We love this house and the entire island. We were very sorry to leave, but wanted to get closer to family with a baby on the way!

この宿泊施設のオーナーになった理由

This is such an amazing location. Steps to First Beach, where there is beach volleyball, a carousel, and the Atlantic Beach Club restaurant complete with an outdoor bar on the beach with live music. Right across the street from the beach is Flo's Clam Shack and a couple great sports bars, and a few yards up the road is the Atlantic Grille, which is our favorite breakfast place around. All of this is a five minute walk from the house. And 2nd Beach (Sachuest Beach) is a mile walk away, which is our favorite beach for relaxing, sunbathing, and swimming (the picture of us from the wedding is on 2nd Beach).
It's also about a mile walk to Cliff Walk, which is an amazing walking/biking trail with the ocean on one side and the beautiful Newport Mansions on the other. Mansion Tours on Bellevue Ave. are a fun and memorable activity. Also on Bellevue is the International Tennis Hall of Fame, where you can dine overlooking the grounds, tour the museum, or even book a court yourself, or attend a professional match if the timing is right.
Thames St. is only a 5 minute drive and it is chalk full of restaurants, bars, live music, theater, shops, festivals, concerts, comedy shows, sail boat rides, outdoor ice skating during the winter, fireworks on the 4th, arcade and ice cream.
Ocean view drive on the other side of the island is another one of our favorites for breathtaking ocean views and Brenton State Park, which is a gorgeous pet friendly park, great for picnicking, kite flying, or just relaxing.
10 minute drive inland, there are Polo matches every Saturday evening during the warmer months, as well as Newport Winery tours and tastings.
