The Asylum Inn Unit 2 is located near the shores of Lake Michigan, allowing you to indulge in the sun, sand, and breathtaking views just a short distance away. Spend your days exploring the charming town of South Haven, known for its beautiful beaches, unique shops, and delicious dining options. Each room is thoughtfully furnished ensuring you wake up rejuvenated and ready to explore. After a day of exploration, unwind on the outdoor pavilion. Your comfort and enjoyment are our top priorities!

Asylum Inn is located in the Business District of downtown South Haven. The Inn is on a double lot and has a pavilion and gazebo on the adjacent lot that guests are able to enjoy.
South Haven is a very walkable City and you can also bike and golf cart around. The welcome book in the unit has specific roads you can use a cart, so be sure to review that prior. Parking is available through the City, but during high tourists season it would be quicker to just walk to your destination. The North and South beaches do have designated parking if you don't want to walk.

Perfect location

Property location is perfect for the beach, restaurants, and shops. The property was extremely well maintained and the property manager was quick to respond. Will definitely stay again!

Our stay in South Haven was great! The Asylum Inn was clean, well maintained, and had a charming feel. Restaurants, shopping, and the beach were all within a comfortable walking distance. There was great communication before, during and after our stay.

Great location

We had the best time staying at the Asylum! Such a great location - everything was easily walkable. Right next to shops, restaurants and farmers market! Unit was extremely clean and well stocked with kitchen and bathroom supplies. Would definitely stay there again!

Awesome location!

Lots of room and kitchen amenities. Parking was a challenge with larger vehicles (mini van). Cornhole was a blast!

Great location!

Loved this unique inn! Super convenient location -close to everything- just a short walk (1 block) to all the downtown shops and restaurants. Fun Saturday farmers market just 1 block down the street (next to a great coffee shop-Julia’s). A short easy bike ride (5 minutes) down to South Beach. Right across the street from Kal Haven/Van Buren State Park trailheads. Our 2nd floor rooms were clean and furnishings in good shape. 2 barely used gas grills available and the patio area was a great place to eat outside and play cornhole! Parking spaces were a little tight with our Toyota highlander with a bike rack but doable. Loved the unique feel of the property/ building and would definitely stay here again. Really enjoyed our time in South Haven and our stay at the Asylum Inn!
