We had an excellent stay-the location cannot be beat. Close to downtown and the beach; the house is pristine and the outdoor space a relaxing haven. This rental provided everything we needed for a week-kitchen supplies and utensils, abundant bathroom/shower spaces (including an outdoor sand wash space), and a cozy hammock for relaxation.

We really enjoyed our stay. The house was very clean and well equipped with everything we needed. The bathroom and bedroom layout worked great for 3 families with kids. We also really enjoyed the outdoor living space. Plenty of seating! Location was great- you can walk to town in a few minutes and the beach was walking distance as well. Communication with the host was great. Definitely recommend!

We'll be back! We enjoyed our stay at this house for a long weekend. I loved that this house was within walking distance of downtown. It was also across the street from a large, sunken park that was great for playing games with kids. This house also had everything we needed. We enjoyed grilling in the side yard and hanging out on the deck. I hope to stay here again!

Family Getaway

The property was in a great location. Close to downtown and a short drive to the beach. Plenty of room, loved we were able to enjoy the patio. Would for sure stay here again.

Check in was easy, exactly as they had explained. House was clean, kitchen well-stocked with cooking utensils, spices, dinnerware, etc. The stove, refrigerator and dishwasher all worked well for us. The only small thing is that we thought the front door may need a slight bit of adjustment for easier opening.

Another great stay in South Haven

We enjoyed another year in South Haven, and this house was great! The kitchen was the best, including real knives, which was a first for all the homes we have stayed in! The patio was a winner, especially in the evenings. We liked it so much we booked it for next year!

Well appointed property!

We loved our stay! Our only critique was that the listing says 3 blocks to the beach, it is more like 6 long blocks. Otherwise it was excellent for our 3 families and kids!

Love this house❤️

Second stay as great as the first

This is an immaculate, beautifully appointed, well-stocked home that we were thrilled to return to for our family vacation. Our family of ten had just the right amount of space for all and the patio had plenty of stylish outdoor furniture for all of us to enjoy our dinners together in the evenings. We never ran out of dinnerware, silverware, dish towels and even cleaning supplies. These gracious hosts have thought of everything. They even sent a text on a rainy day suggesting outings for our family to enjoy in town when the beach wasn’t an option! Thanks, Sean and Sarah, for another great week in your lovely home!

Fantastic home

This is the third home we have rented in South Haven and this was also our favorite. Extremely clean, great set up of home, and perfect location. Quick walk to downtown for a coffee or stroll to beach for a sunset. Will be back!

Great getaway

We came to South Haven for the first time for a 4 day getaway. We stayed here and the whole family loved it. House is clean and nicely appointed. Plenty of kitchen items to prepare large family meals. We loved the proximity to downtown and the beach and walked to both daily. Sean and Sarah are very accommodating and easy to work with. We’ll definitely be back!!

Great stay!

Thanks to the hosts for sharing their wonderful house. We loved being close to both downtown and the beach. The house was a calming, cool retreat from the heat and bustle of the beach! The outdoor area was a favorite for gathering at meal times and in the evening because of all the comfortable seating and room for the kids to play. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed to make meals for all 9 of us. Thank you!

Excellent Experience

The owners' home is new and beautiful. There is more than enough space to accommodate a larger group, and the owners' have provided more amenities and accessories than one could imagine. The home is just a few easy blocks walk from both downtown and the beach. The owners were extremely easy to deal with and most accommodating. For our next trip to South Haven, we will surely look to see if this home is available. We highly recommend it.

Lovely property close to everything!

We had a lovely stay at this beautiful home. The outdoor area has nice patio furniture, a big grill, and a hammock. The appliances and furniture are in good condition. The beds are a little small, but manageable for us. The listing says 4 bathrooms, but there are only 3 toilets and 2 tub/showers that we could find, which was very disappointing. The best part of the property is the location. 5 blocks to the lake and 6 blocks to Captain Lou’s! The proximity to downtown means there is a lot of traffic and street parking on busy days, but with 2 driveways there should be plenty of parking. We all appreciated the way the rental info was displayed in frames on the wall, including beach safety tips!

Just WOW!

If you’re a perfectionist or a clean freak, this lovely home is for you. Our granddaughters squealed with delight as soon as we opened the door to this fabulous rental. Having used VRBO for properties several times a year since 1995, we’ve rented quite a few properties. This one exceeded all others in being well-stocked. We had ten people and always had plenty of plates, silverware, glassware, etc. Everything was covered, from spices for cooking to plenty of hand soap at each sink, toilet paper, paper towels, detergent, etc. The location was within a couple of blocks to the Farmers Market and downtown. We rented a golf cart for our trips to the beach which is totally walkable, but with little ones and beach gear, we chose to drive. The patio was lovely for dinners outside and the cafe lights really gave it a great ambiance. The beds and furniture for all ten of us were very comfortable, so no complaints about morning backaches! The owners were very attentive and available when we had questions. I can’t wait to return!
