Had a great stay for a long weekend visiting the Lake Placid area. The location was very convenient to town and very close access to the Rail Trail. The apartment was clean and cozy and well-appointed with amenities. Great place to stay to explore the area, would definitely recommend and stay again.

Everything was as described in the listing. Lovely quaint little bedroom apartment above the garage with porch rockers and access to outdoor fireplace. Check-in was easy and shortly after arriving, we were greeted by our host, Peter who was very hospitable. We were in town for Parents weekend at Paul Smith’s College so we didn’t actually get to spend much time there but would definitely come back to spend some time in and around Lake Placid.

The Little Pinecone exceeded our expectations. It’s clean, cozy, and comfortable, and includes everything you need. The beautiful strawberry hydrangeas left upon arrival was such a lovely surprise! Thank you for sharing your lovely “home” and we look forward to returning in the future.

Very much enjoyed our stay. Peaceful place. Enjoyed sitting on the deck and sipping coffee watching birds and feeling the cool breeze. Within minutes to downtown and less than half an hour to other great sites. Thank you, Peter.

Perfect space for our weekend! Close to shops and restaurants, but in a quiet neighborhood away from the hustle and bustle of town. Our host was helpful and available. Well appointed kitchen and the apartment had everything we needed. Enjoyed our stay!

Anniversary getaway

It was perfect for our anniversary trip to Lake Placid. The place was warm, cozy and just right. We enjoyed the place and it was a good spot to travel the surrounding areas.
