Franklin Aultman, Proprietor
Franklin was born and raised on Ten Horse Farm. His ancestors bought the property in 1912. The farm has been in the family for 5 generations. After a successful career in advertising in New York and Boston, Franklin and his wife decided to return to Ten Horse Farm and restore it to its former glory. The Guest House has been completely renovated inside and out. Updates have been made to the kitchen and bathrooms. The exterior and interior have been painted in colors selected by a renowned architectural colorist. The landscape around the Guest House, including the immediate grounds, adjacent pecan orchards, pastures and timberlands, is beautifully maintained. The original Planter's House, which shares the driveway with The Guest House, has been restored. The barn also has been restored and houses an array of farm equipment used to operate the farm. What is most memorable about visiting The Guest House and Ten Horse Farm is the abundance of wildlife, the beautiful landscape, the spaciousness and the quiet peacefulness.
