Walking distance (less than 1 mile, about 18 minutes easy walk with sidewalk or 4 minutes quick drive) to Market St/the Corning Museum of Glass/Wegmans. This 4-bedroom duplex offers free on street parking spaces at the front of the house (City of Corning ALTERNATE SIDE STREET PARKING rule applies). The house has an enclosed front porch and a shared large back deck for extra entertainment. One of the bedrooms is located on the first floor and a full bathroom on each floor.

The host was fantastic! They were very responsive to our questions before and during our stay, and they provided helpful information about the area. The check-in process was seamless, and we felt very well taken care of. We appreciated their attention to detail and their commitment to making our stay enjoyable. The rental was great for what we needed it for.

Great base for walking to CMoG

We really appreciated the convenient location and being able to walk to the Museum of Glass and the Gaffer District. The house was clean, and the beds were very comfortable. The kitchen was a bit small for our group, but we ate outside on the deck and managed fine.

Amazing location, lovely home

Plenty of space for a family and amenities that made travel with a four year old a little easier like a pool table he was fascinated by and a TV with Disney, Netflix, etc. The location was FANTASTIC, close to everything. We probably could have walked to more things if it hadn't been so hot and my son weren't so young, but as it was most things were a 2 to 5 minutes drive, including a Wegman's where you can get anything you might need. Easy, abundant parking. Check in was flawlessly easy, the host was kind and communicative. Everything was clean and well stocked (towels, sheets, dishes, and even thoughtful details like makeup removal pads). We did not cook, but you definitely could easily do so in the kitchen. Both a deck and a covered front porch. I wish we had had a little more time to take advantage of those nice spaces. There was no central air conditioning which was uncomfortable for me because I am particularly sensitive to heat and it was about 95 degrees every day. My son had no issue - the window units were fine for him, and there were working window units installed in every bedroom and the living room. We have friends who live in Corning, and my understanding is that lack of central air is pretty standard for the region. But something to keep in mind in general for visiting the area in summer if you have heat sensitivity.

Convenient space with pool table

Staying here was a positive experience! We had people from ages 6 to 74 and everyone enjoyed their stay. There are plenty of beds, bedrooms, and bathrooms. The outdoor dining space worked well for us and the pool table was a big hit. Some of us even walked to Market Street and the CMOG to earn all the ice cream we ate! The host was clear, responsive, and helpful. Wonderful stay!

Great place if you want to be close to Corning Glass museum

This is a very well maintained multi bedroom attached home. The bathrooms and bedrooms were clean and comfortable. The check out was very simple and the host DID NOT have a laundry list of items for us to do before check out. This was a huge plus!

The house is in a nice walkable neighborhood. It’s on par with the other homes in the neighborhood built in the late 1800s early 1900s. That being said, it’s well kept. We appreciated all the amenities including games, puzzle, books, etc. Great communication with the host!

We were in Corning for a girls getaway. We took a class at the Corning glassworks, walked around the village and had a great dinner.

So Clean!

The house is so clean and they have done everything to make the stay as comfortable as possible. We loved the screen at the back door onto the deck and the bedrooms.This is not the fault of the owner: While the location is so convenient to the glass museum and downtown, the neighborhood is a bit depressing. It seems like some houses are in much better shape than others. And it could be due to poverty that others are pretty shabby looking. But this house is comfortable and clean and so close to everything.

Nice place to stay

The house is nice. It has some smallness to it based on the setup, but that is not a negative, just something to be aware of and understand. The owner communicated well the parking situation and check-in process.

Stay was good, well maintained. Living room area needs to be reconfigured to accommodate a group, with better furniture. only one small Couch and not comfortable at all.

Perfect for our family of 5!

This is our 2nd time staying here this year, so that should say something. It's homey and has all of the comforts and conveniences we need. There are 4 bedrooms, 2 full baths, and a full sized washer and dryer. The kitchen has everything you need, and you can even grill out on the back porch!We'll definitely be back next year.
