Trout Lake Cottage with its own dock

Cottage on Trout Lake. Trout Lake is the largest lake in Vilas and Oneida Counties with 3,864 acres. There are only 107 private properties on Trout Lake's 18 miles of shoreline where about half is state owned land. Trout Lake is fed by springs and 4 creeks and drains to Trout River providing clear pristine water. A canoe trip down the Trout River is available as part of this rental.

The cottage is tucked in a deep water bay on the west side of Trout Lake. the common westerly breeze blows over the old growth trees creating a pure glass lake surface. The dock is ready for your boat, or use ours. Great waterskiing and fishing are at your dock.

Trout Lake Golf Course is 0.7 mile away and has just had a major upgrade to championship level.

We had a fantastic time at Trout Lake Cottage. Matt, the owner, was very friendly and accommodating. The cottage was perfect for our family. It is simple and cozy. We loved swimming and fishing off the dock along with grilling dinner and enjoying s'mores around the fire pit.

Trout Lake Vacation

Wonderful waterfront property on Trout Lake. Sandy swim area with our own dock. Matt was very accommodating and ready to help if needed. We can't wait to go back!

Enchanted Trout Lake

The location was amazing! Matt was so nice and helpful. He was extremely helpful with getting our boat out to the launch. The cabin was cute and clean , the pier and outdoor space perfect. Will definitely go again. Had a fabulous stay!

Beautiful Trout Lake

Host (Matt) was extremely accommodating and pleasant to work with. Helped get my boat in and out, quick to respond to any request we made. Wonderful and beautiful experience... Loons, bald eagles, clear water, sandy shore, great dock! Can't wait to get back!!

Fisherman's Perfection!!!

Perfect location on the shore of stunning Trout Lake with a private dock. Deep sand bottom for worry free mooring. Caught many fish during our stay including smallies, walleye and perch! Clear water for swimming and other water activities. Clean nostalgic cottage with all needed amenities. A beautiful yard with grill and fire pit. Ping pong table in the garage for rainy day time! Matt the host is so accommodating and friendly and respectful of privacy. He helped with launching and pulling the boat. We recommend this property and will be returning!!!
