From winter conditions that are ideal for snow sports to mild summers full of fishing, swimming, and hiking, you'll find plenty of options for outdoor fun all year-round round. The home has been completely renovated from top-to-bottom and fitted with all-new appliances, fixtures, and decor that promise true modern comfort. There's a large outdoor deck for enjoying those blue-sky summer days, while the fabulous, furnished sunroom offers an inviting spot for rainy days or winter weather. Recent additions include beautiful ceramic tile floors, updated kitchen appliances, and butcher-block counters, plus a brand-new heating/cooling system and a tankless water heater for ultimate household convenience and climate control.

Sooo GLAD we stayed here!

Absolutely an awesome place to stay for the weekend. Our family of 5 all had our own bedroom. Very comfortable and cozy! Would love to come back in the winter to "Ski in/Ski out" . I will definitely be staying here on my next trip back up!!!

Looks aren’t everything

The house has been remodeled nicely, and had a pretty decent layout. We were able to check in early which was also nice. It’s right on the slope so perfect location for skiing. The house wasn’t cleaned. The sheets had hair and stains, and buggers on them. The coffee machine wasn’t cleaned and the old coffee that was in the filter had turned into mold. We made coffee out of a small (1cup) coffee maker and the glass coffee pot was broken at the top. Also, the toilet downstairs wasn’t even bolted to the ground so it rocked when sat on. It seems like it’s a pure rental property with the bare minimum provided to guests.

Horrible arrival and service, nice property, no management

Arrived at our check in time of 4 p.m. in Sugar Mountain NC. Door code would not work. We finally got a code that worked at 9 p.m. Got in and the house was trashed...dirty linens and trash everywhere. We are traveling with small children it was 20 degrees outside and once we got in we had to clean until 2 a.m. and still slept on beds with no sheets. The bunk bed broke as well. Luckily the oldest children were in the lower bunk and not injured. It is now 1 p.m. on day 2 of our vacation and no towels or linens have been provided, previous renters trash is still on the front porch. Horrible service so far. Home now...never got cleaning or linens. Slept on mattress cover with throws we bought. Toilet in basement not secured to the floor. Promised everyday we would get help. It never came. Review by the people there before us apparently had the same problem...not cleaned and no one to help. We rented through Vacasa.com on line. Never again...I own a real estate company and I am hard pressed to give recommendations or reviews, but this was a dangerous situation with children and the access to the property. Very cold and late before we could even get into the property. Thank goodness last case resort was an hour drive home...otherwise there was no where to go other than begging for a couch in a lobby of the 2 hotels there.
