Situated a half an hour drive to the north of Galway City (28 km), the lodge is ideally located for discovering the Galway City, Connemara, South Mayo, Cliffs of Moher, and the Wild Atlantic Way.

Fisherman's lodge offers a modern and cosy space for visitors to enjoy and relax in. It is fully equipped to be your home away from home – just bring groceries and relax & enjoy the beautiful and serene surroundings.

Ideal for a short break or week long stay for couples, families and friends/groups.

The space
● GENERAL: The entire lodge, kitchen is well equipped to be your home away from home – just bring groceries and begin to relax & enjoy your beautiful and serene surroundings. The lodge was extensively refurnished and renovated to offer a modern and cosy space for a short break or week long stay for couples, families and friends/groups who are looking for a peaceful retreat after long days exploring all that Galway, Connemara and the West of Ireland has to offer.

● KITCHEN/DINING: The kitchen/Living Space has a gas hob, electric oven, microwave, large fridge freezer, television, dining table and dishwasher. Wireless internet is available throughout the lodge.

● BEDROOMS: The lodge has 3 comfortable bedrooms, the master bedroom has a king sized bed and is en-suite. The second bedroom consists of two single beds, while the third has a double bed. Each bed is dressed in freshly laundered bed linen at the beginning of each stay.

● BATHROOMS: The second bathroom in the lodge is at the top of the hall. This bathroom is equipped with a walk in power shower. Freshly laundered bathroom and hand towels are provided for each group member at the beginning of their stay. The lodge is heated (water and space) by a new gas heating system, which has a large 250 lt storage tank for efficiency and to reduce waste.

● UTILITY, the lodge has a washing machines (10 kg), and a condenser dryer.

● OUTSIDE, there is a large garden (circa 1.5 acres) with outdoor furniture and space for a disposable barbecue if you wish. The lodge has direct access into the garden through a door in the living room.The lodge has ample free and safe parking.
Guest access
Guests will have full private access and use of the lodge during their stay.

The lodge has extensive private gardens (cira 1.5 acres) which will be shared with the guests in the other lodges.
Other things to note
Please help protect our environment by separating paper, cardboard and plastic waste and placing in the blue bin provided during your stay in the lodge. There are bottle bring banks for glass and metal containers in all of the villages locally.
