Location was FANTASTIC! The view from the balcony was absolutely amazing!!! And so close to great restaurants, the beach, and all the wonderful things Ventura has to offer. Sunny Days operates this property very well. Communication, access, and information for the property were 10 out 10! Thank you for a wonderful stay!

We loved staying in this lovely home! Perfect balcony for coffee in the morning, dinner and sunsets. The king bed was very comfortable and the furniture was good. A dog friendly place and downtown Ventura is very dog friendly as well. We will definitely stay here again.

Gorgeous ocean views and salty air from the kitchen, living room and deck. Lots of light and close to everything Ventura has to offer. Very clean. Could have used a little more attention to detail in terms of furnishings and outdoor maintenance. Truly enjoyed our stay.

Beautiful home! Great view and amazing deck. Kitchen is lovely with all the basic amenities. Check-in was a breeze. Nice nieghborhood. Master bedroom and bathroom, comfortable and fairly clean. The odd things- water feature out front - broken, shades at the front french doors, partailly missing. Second bedroom -bed- extra high. Electrical needs a face lift. Some switches taped and broken, alot of switches alot if experimenting of what turns on what. Brought our luggage in through the garage- garage door not working 100%, exposed electrical panal (reported, not addressed). And the upstairs bathroom toilet makes the craziest loud noise for several minutes everytime its flushed.Noise ordinance 10pm-7am: we thought we were being quiet... nopemy husband and I, softly talking in the jacuzzi (we were in it for 30min just after 10pm) recieved a notification TEXT about a noise complaint. The next night I went out side 3xs after 10pm. Retrieve and pair of shoes, retrieve towels from drying on the railing from the night before, and put back a chair brought in the house. We tried extra hard to be quiet. Got another noise complaint TEXT. Polite texts- but so curious. It was stressfull. We even talked softly in the house, didnt watch TV or play music. So as beautifully situated the house was, the great kitchen, comfy living room, gorgeous view, amazing porches, great master bed and shower, the stress will take this off my list.

Quiet hillside neighborhood. Well maintained and well stocked home. Off-street, covered parking for two cars so we never had to compete for parking—so rare in hillside home and so appreciated. Stunning ocean and city views from entry-level upper floor. Home had everything we needed for a very pleasant stay. I would recommend you ask for the key to the side gates that access the stairs down to backyard - it’s so much easier than using the outdoor spiral stairway.

Visiting family in Ventura

Beautiful views of Ventura and the ocean from a comfortable home on a hill. We appreciated the off-street parking in a carport. We chose the home because of the two bedrooms each with their own bathroom. There was also a small bathroom upstairs. Lots of closet space was a benefit not usually available in a rental. We were a group of 5, two grandparents and a daughter, son-in-law and one granddaughter. We did have to be very careful on the stairs going down to the bedrooms from the living room. We enjoyed our stay.

It could have been much more enjoyable stay

Pluses: Beautiful spacious property with a magnificent view. The house looks glamorous with all the high-end furniture. The kitchen has everything you need to prepare a meal. Fantastic location.Minuses: Living room and balcony sofa smells of a strong cat urine. There was a dirty diaper found inside of a main bedroom closet drawer. The master bedroom pillowcases smelled of previous customer cologne. The kitchen window was dirty and obstructed the ocean view. One of the dining chairs out on the patio was full of spider web. Many of the kitchen wares have hard water stain on them.

We didn’t spend a great deal of time on property, but this is a fantastic base for visiting Channel Islands National Park. It is minutes from the harbor and we cooked all our meals at the property, which kind of off-set the highly nightly rate.

Beautiful location with views for days

Enjoyed this lovely home in a quiet neighborhood for a few days while checking it out for a potential family stay. It was just as advertised and the outside space was incredible. Hot tub was a bonus. Hope to be back.

Beautiful view

The outside stairs may be difficult for seniors to navigate to the backyard especially if you have dogs The side stairs are much better but they were locked. Management was very prompt of you have any questions.

Incredible View

This place is actually more amazing in person!!! It is just so beautiful! The view and the home itself. There were three of us who stayed at this house and our two dogs. Plenty of room. Note: the neighbor has two dogs as well, and they like to bark once in a while, but they seem friendly enough and will stare at you from their yard with wagging tails. Two things that can be improved upon (if I had to find something): At night, there were no lights that came on in the yard, so it could be dangerous walking down the spiral staircase at that time; and it took a very, very long time for the water to get hot in the kitchen sink. Other than that, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this home on the hill. We will most definitely stay here again (as I grew up in Ventura County and have family in the area). I’d also like to mention that Sunny Days (the company that manages this property) answer any and all questions you may have in a timely manner. I really appreciated that.

Ventura, CA house

Overall good. Three negatives: 1. The bottom bed sheet was not fitted. So, every time we moved in bed, the bottom sheet came off and rolled up. We ended up sleeping on the plastic mattress cover for most of the night. 2. The top sheet was not warm enough for the night and the comforter was too warm. There was no in between light weight blanket or cover. 3. The kitchen sponge was so filthy that no amount of rinsing it stopped brown/black debris from coming out.
