Beautifull house in a safe colony, near to restaurant, laundry, grocery stores and colectivo stop. House has 2 bikes one with kids seat. nice backyard with hammock and place to have meals plus a mango tree (in season)

The location is perfect the neighbours are friendly the agent is terrific the property needs a little TLC . The beds are very comfortable, but I would rate this house a 3 star .

A Pleasant stay away from the tourist district

This VRBO is located in a quiet, middle class neighborhood, which is exactly what I'd hoped for. We accessed the downtown area easily via bus or taxi. Also within reasonable distance of grocery shopping, and within walking distance to a convenience store, local restaurants pharmacies, a fresh vegetable/fruit market. My taxi driver had difficulty locating the house, so I spent the 1st night in a locally owned, reasonably priced hotel downtown. My travel partners arrived on later dates and didn't have a problem getting there. Casa Catalina is nicely furnished, and had most things needed for a longer stay. More than adequate supplies to cook. 1 suggestion would be a microwave, if possible. There is a handy washer/dryer combo to use. 3 bicycles, 1 lock and an air pump for tires. Once settled in, we really enjoyed our stay. I sincerely apologize to the host for not finishing the washing of dishes. My taxi driver arrived, and I had to leave to make it to the airport on time. I would like to visit Puerto Morelos in the future for a longer stay, and will consider Casa Catalina as an option.

I am Mexican guy, I was born in Tabasco and moved to this area many years ago, I loved Puerto Morelos since the first moment.
The property is my sister´s house, she lives in Tabasco and besides her work as a kinder garden teacher, she and her friends do a great thing for dogs, cats or any animal that could need help; from taking them to a shelter or to the vet if necessary, that why despite I live in Tulum I do my best to help her with rentals.

I do have a house same street, I moved here years ago because I was trying to be a little away from the rush of Cancun city, and Villas Morelos it was perfect for that.

The house is like any other house in this neighborhood, and the house is unique because is surround for good people that stay away from troubles, every one just check their own things. Plus that there is a good Italian restaurant around the corner.
