Family vacation

Property owner is super nice and helpful amazing home and beautiful rooms close to the beach and downtown FWB great places to eat and good shops to do shopping. Overall amazing experience will definitely rent this house next time we’re in town :)

Our stay

We got to town hours early from Kentucky. The owner made it happen where we could check in early which was amazing and really helped us. He worked with us. And the house was as expected in the pictures which was great since there was 10 of us!! Enjoyed our stay!!

Property hadn't been mowed in a while- 1' tall weeds and grass. Backyard had accumulation of garbage. Gas grill had hornets nest in it, no propane bottle, and looks like it hasn't been touched in a long time. Small charcoal grill was ok but the old charcoal looks like it has been dumped for months around it. Inside was clean for the most part but there was either blood or some kind of red sauce on the wall in the living room. Small fold out couch had broken springs and nasty looking stains. Kitchen outlet not properly seated in the wall. Duck tape on the kitchen light fixture. Shower faucets in 2 of the 3 are in need of repair/proper install. They did "work" but look rough. Mattresses on the bunk beds were worse than a camper pad on 3 of the 5. Minimal kitchen utensils for cooking- need to buy some plastic spoons and spatulas. One bedroom door was lockable from the outside with a dead bolt- not safe and kind of weird. Kitchen table is a cheap folding camp table. Table cloth covering it was stained and dirty. Plenty more but I think people will get the idea. Not a terrible location and it is "ok" for a place to sleep but it is way over priced for what you get in my opinion.

HI David, Sorry you had an ok time. Most guests enjoy our place and rate it as a 10. We do not list a BBQ grill as amenity we offer. Guests have brought their own and left it.
