ONP Stay

Stayed here for 2 nights as we traveled along Olympic National Park. Was a great location for 2 days of exploring the beaches, Hoh, and Lake Quinault. The house was very clean and comfortable for our family of five, including three teenagers.

Great stay and close to La Push!

We were visiting Olympic NP and this worked so well as a base for a couple days while we did some exploring on the east side of the park. It was very clean and a nice place to relax after a long day of hiking!

The home was very clean and in a fantastic location. Plenty of room for our family. The only issue I had was there is a camper in the backyard that was not stated in the description. One evening we got home to see a car pulled into the back yard and didn’t know if they were suppose to be there or not. I contacted the owner and she responded right away and said it’s a teacher that stays sometimes in the camper. Overall it’s a great little place I would stay again.

Great house

We really enjoyed our stay and the house was perfect. I had to text the host and she responded right away. It’s only a block to town so everything is within walking distance. Perfect place to stay for the Hoh rainforest and all the beaches.

Great Little Hideaway in Forks

This property was so cozy and beautiful! It was the perfect haven after days of hiking and exploring this beautiful state! Perfect in the heart of Forks, you’re right in the center of town between cute little shops and the Twilight saga. Thank you again for such a wonderful stay!

Great stay in Forks, WA!

I traveled to WA to explore the Pacific NW. Stayed in Forks 4 nights and it was amazing. Enjoyed our VRBO tremendously, as did my teenagers. Clean, spacious, perfect for us. Loved being able to walk right up to the cute little town. Highly recommend. Close to most of the hikes we wanted to do.

Just the basics

Very clean property with nice location - close to beaches & Hoh. No amenities whatsoever though - very few kitchen items. Nothing in cabinets such as spices (even cinnamon), tea, 2 rolls of toilet paper for 3 nights/3 adults, nary a plastic lunch bag or piece of foil. None of the nice, extra touches I have come to expect. A bottle of Washington wine & a few apples would have been nice. No games or books, not that those were important to us, but might be to a family.

Home away from home

It’s a lovely home for families who need a bit more room than a hotel room. House has many amenities including information for Olympic NP. We would definitely return.

I have been teaching elementary school children in Forks for 30 years. The families and community are remarkable. I would love to share this amazing community with others. Once you have experienced this way of life it is easy to understand why someone would use Forks as the setting for a series of novels/movies. My husband and I raised a son in Forks and attribute his success to the lifestyle he was afforded here.

We bought 2 lots a few years ago and decided to put a new house on them this year. My husband and I lived in Forks for about 15 years and 3 years ago we sold our home and moved to Port Angeles for his career. I have been commuting to Forks to keep my career as a teacher here. I just couldn't leave my students, their families and my co-workers. While the commute is a beautiful one the time in the winter can be exhausting. My husband and I decided we needed a place for me to stay in the winter on occasion. So, we have a fully furnished new home that I stay in when it is not in use by visitors. It really is my home away from home too!

The peace and relaxed lifestyle that Forks offers is unique. I can walk on nearby ocean beaches, drive thru the rainforest, walk on nature trails or just enjoy the mountain views. The hot springs are also a special treat for melting away stress. The convenient location of my house allows me to walk to all major necessities. I can grab a cup of coffee and walk to work or the park. The Mexican restaurant is right across the alley in my backyard. So, if I don't feel like cooking in my wonderful little kitchen I can grab a bite to take out or dine in without having to drive my car.
