This location was a great home base for the Olympic Peninsula check list. It’s about ten minutes away from Forks, and about the same to Rialto Beach. Very cool area. I found myself lacking in cell phone service in most locations here. The property includes WiFi.

Check in was a little rough after a long day in OMP. Directions were clear, but not the typical vrbo checkin I’m used to. Room felt old, but quaint and clean.
We were staying in “owl”, which is above the door and needs to be remarked or painted.

Nice cabin in great location

We had a lovely stay in the cabin. It's a great central location to visit the Hoh, Rialto Beach, Quinault Rain Forest, Ruby Beach and Cape Flattery.

Great place, I spent a night there with my family and my bf. we all loved the place very much, we stayed at Owl room and it was a great stay. Me and my boyfriend will definitely come back during summer or next fall.

It was an excellent option because of the proximity to Rialto Beach. We stayed here after we visited there. The main lodge was nice to sit in and relax and play games with my family. The shower was a little small but for a one night stay it was cozy and just what we needed. Cottage was clean and quiet.

Very secluded area which we liked. The walls are thin with the shared unit we had so we had to be mindful of this when we got up very early in the morning for a hike on the beach.

We stayed in the owl. It was super cute and the lodge was cool with all sorts of things to do like chess and games and music.

Cozy cottage near Rialto

We could stay at this cozy, comfortable cottage only one night but wish it could have been more. We loved the location among old-growth trees, dripping in the rain. While small, the cottage was warm and welcoming and worked well for the three of us. We appreciated how easy it was to get to Rialto Beach. We would gladly stay here again!

Manitou Lodge

The unit was clean and the property was VERY quiet. The lodge which served as a common area was great. Centrally located for Forks, Rialto Beach and HOH Rainforest. Only issue was the price point for the rustic atmosphere and no on site amenities like laundry units.

We could not have been happier to land at the Owl Cottage Room after a very long day of hiking in Olympic National Park – and were delightfully surprised to find it was more than just a place to sleep for a night. Our cottage was cozy and very clean, with thoughtful amenities and decorative details. Plus, access to the lodge gave us the chance to hang out around the big fireplace (yes, in July!) with other travelers. The grounds are peaceful and lush, set back far enough from the main road to feel like you’re in the middle of the forest. Wi-fi was a bit spotty in our room, but readily accessible in the lodge. Coffee and flavored creamers were available both in the cottage and in the main lodge. The host’s communications were always detailed and clear, and he responded quickly to our questions. The location is very convenient to nearby Forks (sweet town!) for groceries and casual dining. The cottage was so lovely that we chose to grab food and bring it back to eat on our front porch. A deer jumped out of the woods in front of us as we entered the road into the property, so enjoy the local wildlife, but drive cautiously. This place far exceeded our expectations, and we can’t wait to come back again. Thank you!

The cabin we stayed in was woodsy and creatively decorated to fit the style and natural surroundings.The shower had plenty of hot water and good pressure, which, after days of hiking, is appreciated. The sheets were comfortable, and the towels were soft and plentiful for the two of us. The kitchen was fairly well appointed with bowls, coffee cups, glasses and plates and silverware.The refrigerator is very small, but it fits the decor in a fun way. There is a small freezer perfect for reusable ice packs.The location is very out in the woods, so think spiders and cobwebs. Great location for all of the beach hikes and exploring the natural area.We enjoyed our stay.

Okay

Location was impeccable but the amenities was poor, nothing to cook with, just a microwave, what a waste of a gorgeous cabin to not be able to cook anything - property manager offered the fire pit but the grill was rusted over. All in all overly priced for what you get but again location is gorgeous.

This property needs some serious TLC. The room had cob webs, leaking toilet etc. It’s very remote, I never saw the host but got a text message. Check out instructions arrived after checkout etc. i expected so much more especially considering the price.
