Beautiful View!

We had a great week in Jamaica! The house has a beautiful view and lots of room for everyone to have their own space. The owner was very helpful. It is close by to multiple mountains for hiking. We even saw a bear come through the yard!

Wonderful rental in southern VT

We had a wonderful stay in this well appointed home, which was just 15 minutes away from Stratton. The home was clean and spacious for a family of four, and definitely could have housed an additional family with ease. There's a separate bonus room with a ping pong table and couches which our teens thoroughly enjoyed. The owner Greg was very helpful and informative, meeting us in person prior to our stay to show us all the features of the home. We wouldn't hesitate to rent again when in the area.

Great Place!

This was a great weekend rental for a getaway with friends! The house was immaculately clean and much, much bigger than we expected! It's a great location with easy access to Stratton and Manchester. The only thing I would advise future renters is to know that two twin beds are in a loft above a living room/play room space, accessed by a ladder with no real privacy. Kids would probably love it, adults maybe not so much. This wasn't a problem for us as we were only a group of 8 .

Photos don’t do this place justice

Had an amazing week long stay here during a snowy, stormy week! The set up of the house was perfect for my family of 4 and my brother in law and his two kids. We had so much space to spread out or all hang together and watch movies. Kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed to make big meals and big dining table to all eat at. Greg was extremely responsive to all my questions and even came out to the house to give the driveway an extra shovel during some heavy snow. This was a 20 out of 10!

Comfy stay

Our stay here was wonderful. Beautiful views and such cozy spaces within the home. Greg is really friendly. He met us for check-in and gave us a thorough walk-thru of the home. When at the house, we enjoyed playing ping pong & sitting on the screened-in porch, as well as watching movies together on the large sofas. The location was nice and private yet close to towns for groceries, eating out, and tours.

Secluded location with incredible views

We loved our stay here for a long weekend. The large house is unique & the views can’t be beat. Completely private and just 15 minutes from Stratton Mountain. Greg was great to work with and the house was very clean. Would highly recommend this house to anyone looking for a quiet getaway.

Amazing sunrise

This place had so many nice features. The one that I will remember the most was the beautiful morning sunrise. This is a paradise on mountaintop. The ping pong table brought many fun moments for our group. The children had fun playing in the many areas of the house.

Gorgeous views, cozy corners throughout the house and most cooperative owners

Three couples, friends for more than 50 years, rented the property over the July 4th holiday. We found a wonderful house in Jamaica VT. Arriving at this spacious house set high on a knoll with tree-covered hills stretching before us we met Greg, (the owner) who opened the door and showed us the nooks and crannies. The views were spectacular. This we would say at least 10 times a day as we oohed and awed whenever we looked outside. The house had 4 bedrooms, 4 baths, sitting areas throughout the house so that each of us could find a quiet space whenever we wanted one. The big treat was the screened in porch, where we gathered in the morning for coffee, wine in the afternoon, and conversations at night. Waking to the glorious sunrises was the perfect antidote for tired bones. Coffee and glorious views what more did we need? Thursday dawned with a most beautiful sunrise. Clouds sat low in the valleys with the beginning sunlight creating waves of color. Since each bedroom has windows facing the east, it was a delight we all shared. We woke to an amazing sunrise on Friday with the realization that this was our last day together. We left with the refrain "until we meet again" By the way, our group chronicler is a poet."

Great home, great views, great owner.

My family and I stayed at this beautiful house over the Columbus day weekend, we were anticipating to be 10 people, some of us couldn't make it, but, even with 7 people, it was a lot of fun. House is big, you can't really tell from the pictures. Views from Bedrooms are amazing, foliage was peaking and weather held up. Greg, the owner, was kind enough to meet us to walk us thru for some details and was available thru out the weekend via text. It was super private in the woods, very nice and cozy, great retreat. Would definitely rent this house again.

Beautiful House and Views!

This house is beautiful, and is true to the pictures and descriptions. The mountain views to the east are awesome! You have to work hard to see any evidence of civilization, it's that good. Makes for great sunrises too. Despite the seclusion and privacy, you are so close to Stratton. The house was well appointed, and had everything we needed for our stay. The house was very clean, and everything was ship shape. Greg and Eileen were great hosts, and even greeted us with a quick house tour when we arrived. We really enjoyed our stay there, and would not hesitate to go again, or to recommend to anyone!

Great ski house

Rented this house for 5 months over the winter. Great location with spectacular views. Secluded yet still close to Stratton. It is perfect for 2 families with teenagers as there is a great room with ping pong, TV and loft beds apart from the rest of the house. Owner Greg was always helpful. Would rent again.

Great seasonal rental. Gorgeous views!

We rented this property for 4 months over the last winter. The house is great for sharing especially for families since there were two master suites and two separate living rooms. The listing was accurate and location as specified in the details. The owner Greg was very responsive to any questions or issues we had and we would definitely consider renting again in the future.

This is a great rental! The description regarding location, layout and amenities is very accurate. It had everything our family needed including lots of privacy for everyone in a beautiful country setting. The owners were very attentive, checking with us to make sure we were comfortable. I felt I could call upon them for any reason. We would definitely recommend this property to anyone and we are looking forward to next year! Thank you Greg and Eileen!!
