This freshly renovated basement unit in the middle of downtown Moscow, Idaho is located a short, flat walk to the University of Idaho, and all of Moscow's best Main Street restaurants, bars, coffee shops and downtown businesses. The unit's well-appointed kitchenette (including a premium Ratio Six coffee maker), wood-burning fireplace and private outdoor seating area provide everything you need for a relaxing and comfortable stay.

Our property manager is available full time to answer any questions and make you feel as comfortable as possible while you are our guest.

Wonderful host. Joyce is the most kind and accommodating host I have ever had with any stay. Also many more amenities than I’m used to getting. A 5 minute walk to downtown. Absolutely lovely stay.

Joyce is an excellent host! Great communication before and during our stay. The location is great with waking distance to the downtown restaurants and shops, and close proximity to U of I.The apartment is exactly as advertised and was very clean. Joyce goes the extra mile to make your stay nice!

My second stay at this wonderful home. The location is perfect for Moscow. It's just a short walk to all your favorite places in Moscow. Yet, it's on a nice quiet side street. The host is wonderful. You feel very welcome, comfortable and cared for. Highly recommend this rental!!!

We couldn't be happier with our stay! The communication was clear, property clean and hosts were very kind and generous! We will definitely plan to stay at the same property if we visit Moscow again in the future. We especially appreciate the special touches provided to make us feel at home immediately, like the welcome message and candy, the cold beverages in the fridge and of the fresh muffins and OJ given to us on the morning we left. Really special place to stay.

This was a perfect place for my daughter and I to stay while touring U of I. It was easy check in and so cute with many extra thoughtful details. We met the owner she was so kind and friendly. It was so great to walk a few blocks for meals. We would stay here again.

Clean and had everything you need. Location could not get any better-you can walk to Maine/downtown in 2 min. Joyce was AMAZING!!! Highly recommend.

We had a wonderful experience staying in this spacious one-bedroom unit, perfectly located in the heart of town. Everything was within walking distance—grocery stores, restaurants, the Farmers Market, and great shopping. Joyce was an exceptional host: warm, welcoming, and incredibly helpful. After checkout, we realized we had accidentally left something behind. Joyce found it right away and contacted us immediately so we could retrieve it before leaving town. You just don’t get that kind of thoughtful service at hotels. Highly recommend!

Wonderful host convenient location

My trip was wonderful. Host very accomodating, responsive. Place was spotless. Organic coffee was available and other condim ents. Kitchen stocked with silverware and pans to make basic meal. Definitely a great place!

Amazing weekend visit

When we first arrived, we were immediately very impreased by the cleanliness and coziness of the property. The check in process was very straight forward and easy to follow (and so was the check out process). The owner was extremely nice and accomodating. They made sure that all of our needs were taken care of, even going as far as offering to shovel the snow from the walkway if so desired, and making us delicious scones presented in a cute little box. Communication was fantastic and I could not have asked for a better experience! I highly recommend staying here if youre looking for an affordable, comfortable, and accommodating stay. 5/5 stars!

Fabulous Spot for Exploring Moscow & U of I

Myself and my two teenage sons had a fabulous stay at the First Street Flat. Joyce and Kelly were great hosts with clear and quick communication. We appreciated the opportunity to have a late check out since other guests were not booked the day we were leaving. The flat is a block from charming Main Street and a quick drive to campus...could walk or ride bike easily. Flat had everything we needed and more...probably the best stocked VRBO I've stayed in. From fresh eggs, yogurts and delicious home baked scones, I felt like we were at a bed & breakfast, not a rental. This is an older home (inside has been nicely updated) so keep in mind you may hear squeaks from upstairs...not a bother to us, but something to be aware of. If we are back in Moscow, we will definitely look to stay here again.

Fantastic & Close To Town

A great place to stay if you’re looking for something close to downtown Moscow and want a comfortable place to rest at night. The host provided lovely scones, eggs, and milk for our stay. A nice personal touch! We were able to walk into town and have dinner out every night. Lots of good places to eat nearby.

The host Joyce was so hospitably and friendly.Easy check in instructions, clean and private space with all the amenities. Very close to UofI and walking distance to downtown. Farmers market on Saturday's. The host recommended several lical spots and went above and beyond to make our a pleasant one. Baked Scones too! We'll definitely visit again. stayy

Great place!

We loved our stay at the First Street Flat. Super convenient location to downtown Moscow. Only about a block away from a super cool cafe called Bucers and other restaurants too. An extra special touch - Joyce was delightful and made us fresh scones!! So sweet. Even in the middle of 103 degree weather the flat was cool and comfortable. When visiting our daughter at WSU - this will hopefully be the only place we stay! Thank you!!!

Convenient to Downtown

Great stay at the basement apartment. Close to all of the restaurants and shops. Joyce is a great host, but also respects your privacy. The basement apartment is very clean and has a comfortable bed and futon available for sleeping. We were given fresh yogurt and eggs for breakfast and freshly baked cookies for a treat! I would stay here again.

Perfect little oasis a block away from downtown shops and restaurants!

Joyce is the perfect hostess. The basement apartment is clean and tidy and perfectly appointed. Just what we needed for me and my 18 year old son going through orientation at WSU. Just 15 minutes from that campus and only a block to cute strip with restaurants. I highly recommend!!

Little Gem

Basement is as described. Bright paint to liven up a potentially dark place. Comfortable bed and living space. Wall heaters are the heat source. Walking distance to downtown and UofI. The host and her daughter were lovely and kind. Street parking.
