Our stay was fantastic!! Carlos and his staff were amazing. The meals were absolutely awesome. The food and the relaxing atmosphere is what really made our couples trip so special. Jimmy also made us feel so welcome and treated us like we were his own family. If you are looking for a spacious place to stay with great food and centrally located. This is definitely the place to stay.

We loved our stay at Villa Preciosa! Everything was just perfect! The staff was exceptional; Carlos and Jimmy took care of our every need. The cooks made delicious meals, and the house cleaners did a great job keeping everything very clean. The pool area was beautiful, and the views were absolutely gorgeous. Thanks to all for making us feel so welcome and comfortable. We highly recommend this amazing property and the outstanding staff!!

You cannot ask for a better view and a better place to stay. Carlos, Jimmy, Jennifer and Jalene made our stay amazing. We felt like they were family. The pool and the view are spectacular. As for the food, we felt like we were eating the whole time we were there. Jennifers pico, guac and homemade chips are the best I ever have had. They taught us how to make empanadas and even shared the recipes with us. Now let's talk about convenience. I did not have to life a finger for any planning of excursions. Carlos connected us with all the right people. It took one email and I had transportation and all the excursions handled for me. Also convenient is the home has a nice van that was able to take us to the beach and to Coco Beach. This was also amazing as we did not want to rent a car. Hands down, this was my families favorite and most relaxed vacation. We cannot wait to be back and look forward to another fun stay here. Pura Vida! I miss Jimmy's amazing drinks and Jennifers amazing cooking.

**A Dream Vacation Come True!**We’ve stayed in plenty of vacation rentals, but this one completely blew us away! The home itself is gorgeous — spacious, spotless, and designed with such taste and care that every corner feels inviting. The kitchen, bedrooms, and living spaces had everything we needed, making it the ultimate home away from home.What truly made our stay unforgettable was the staff. Jimmy was unbelievable — incredibly attentive, accommodating, and genuinely went out of his way to make sure every detail of our stay was perfect. Our trip to Villa Preciosa Resort exceeded our expectations. When planning a trip to a place you have never been before can require a bit of faith. My communication with Carlos was excellent. He always responded professionally no matter how many questions I asked. I was the primary guest traveling with 7 other women for a girls retreat. I was able to have Carlos plan a special day on his 53' Sea Ray for one of the guests 78th birthday. They provided snacks onboard, had 2 mates and a Captain to make sure we were safe and taken care of. We got to enjoy a beautiful sunset before returning to the Villa for a special dinner. The Chef Jennifer made a homemade chocolate cake for dessert and the Bartender/Chef Steward was beyond exceptional in his professional , respectful and friendly service. We were treated like royalty and never wanted to a thing. The housekeeping staff Bianca and Karol, quietly cleaned behind the scenes and you hardly even saw them. It was like magic the way you left one room and returned to beds made and bathroom restocked. Every meal was served as plated service and the guacamole served as afternoon snack was so delicious. A highlight was waking up to the family of howler monkeys who I think enjoyed our company as much as we enjoyed see them. We even learned to howl to them and by the end of the trip one even came to the tree next to the pool to say goodbye. This vacation was a dream and we hope to return again just to hear Jimmy say, "Mucho Gusto".

There are not enough positive adjectives! Absolutely amazing! We had our family vacation at the villa, 11 adults and one 2 year old. When I was searching for a place and had questions, Carlos was very responsive. We had no idea what we were in for...we arrived and the villa is gorgeous! But it was the staff that made our family feel like royalty! Jimmy became part of our family. We miss him dearly. The chef and her assistant had us waiting in anticipation for every meal. We loved sitting together as a big family and enjoying the most delicious cuisine. The housekeepers were constantly working in the background...they kept our "home" spotless! We only left twice...once to visit the rainforest, another to the beach. I can't say enough..oh Jimmy, we all miss your smiling face and your "good morning family".

Amazing Place To Stay

Group of friends stayed at home. We had the best time. Jimmy is the most gracious host. The chef served great food. The cleaning staff was great. Will definitely stay here again.

Spectacular views, wonderful hospitality

Villa Preciosa is a beautiful house with spectacular views. Best part is Carlos and his hospitality. The outdoor space with the views of Playa Ocotal are my favorite. Food and service were outstanding. Great place for large groups. Highly recommend.

The setting was everything we hoped for and more. Carlos took great care to be sure we had all we needed. The food was outstanding! Jimmy has been adopted by everyone in the group as our brother in South America! We will be back! Highly recommend villa preciosa!

We had a fabulous stay at this villa over New Year’s with our family of 14—it was truly the best family vacation. This was our third visit to Costa Rica, and this experience stood out as one of the best.Jimmy, the house manager, took incredible care of us. He went above and beyond—driving us, picking up groceries, and making the most amazing cocktails. We will truly miss him. The cooks were also fantastic, and every meal was outstanding.The house itself was very spacious, easily accommodating all of us, and conveniently located just a 5–10 minute drive to the beach and Father Rooster’s. Carlos arranged an unforgettable all-day boat trip on his boat, which was a highlight of our stay. He was also extremely easy to communicate with and very helpful throughout the planning process.We coordinated airport transfers and an incredible volcanic zip-lining adventure with Ever, which was seamless and so much fun (Ever@thebestdayever.com).One note for future guests: during the week of New Year’s, there was no sun on the main pool deck area. If pool sun is important to you, it’s worth checking on. There is a lower deck that gets sun from about 9:00–1:00, which we appreciated.Overall, we highly recommend this villa and can’t wait to come back again!

Wonderful vacation

We had a great time at the villa. Carlos is a great host and made sure we had whatever we needed. Jimmy was the best!!! He was there early every morning and made sure the food was prepared just the way we wanted. We wished we could take him home with us.

Amazing Family Vacation!

We recently stayed at this property with family that included 4 kids. I can't overstate how great this trip was from pre-planning till the day we left. Carlos was extremely helpful and responsive from beginning to end including helping us book tours, transportation and being very accommodating to food allergies. The staff were great as well and every meal we were served from breakfast to dinner, was top notch! We would definitely come back to stay at this beautiful property again in the future.

Great property and outstanding service!

The property and staff are wonderful! They made our trip to Costa Rica one we will never forget. Everything was so easy, from the time of booking, questions before arrival, booking transportation, excursions, their communication and help was top notch! The food and drinks were excellent. Amazing Family vacation

We had an amazing stay at Villa Preciosa. Carlos was so helpful, responsive, and assisted with all of our vacation needs. The staff is excellent. Jimmy, Jose, Guadalupe, and the rest of the team made our stay perfect. The house is absolutely beautiful with amazing views but the service and food made it complete. We will definitely stay again. Very relaxing and didn’t have to worry about anything. Thank you for making our trip wonderful!

Everything about the property, from the stunning location of the villa with its spectacular view of Playa Ocotal, Carlos’ hospitality, Daniel’s culinary creations, Jimmy’s attentive service, and housekeeping’s spotless attention to cleanliness, made this a memorable and unforgettable family vacation. Wonderful Experience!

We had a group of 8 adults meeting for a business trip. Carlos was super easy to work with. His staff was incredible!! The food was outstanding. I would definitely recommend this property and team of amazing humans. Hopefully we'll be back soon!!!!!

Best Vacation Ever!

We were a group of 10 ladies celebrating a momentous birthday and Carlos and the entire staff of Villa Preciosa made it an amazing experience. Jimmy tended to our every need, Jose and Guadalupe prepared incredible meals, and Bianca and Karol kept the place immaculate during our entire stay. We could not say enough about how incredible the team is at Villa Preciosa. Thank you all so much for making it a birthday to remember!

Fabulous Time!

From the moment we booked Villa Preciosa, we were taken care of with royal treatment. The Villa is beautiful. The chef and staff were top-notch, nourishing us with fresh, delicious food. Carlos organized exceptional excursions with a great tour company. Jimmy made us feel so welcome and comfortable for our stay. A spectacular place in a spectacular country! Pura Vida!!

My name is Carlos. I am originally from Spain and had the opportunity to study my major in Greensboro (North Carolina). In 2012 I moved to Costa Rica with my family.

When I moved to Costa Rica from Spain, I thought about buying a small hotel but what I really wanted was to offer to my clients a very personalize service, a great place, very private and with an excellent service and food where they could stay during their vacation in Costa Rica and not have to worry about a thing beside enjoying their vacation. Then it came out the idea of buying Villa Preciosa Resort, a large and luxury house with all the potencial to make a memorable vacation to my clients.
