We absolutely loved our stay and are already planning next years visit! The kids had such a great time fishing, going on the kayaks and paddle boats. House had everything we needed, beds were soooo comfy! Peaceful and relaxing! Thank you!!

Fantastic Oklahoma Retreat

Property is as described, with everything you might need to enjoy the property. Beautiful spot amidst unaltered nature setting, peaceful, relaxing and enjoyable! Could have escaped here for much longer than our trip allowed. Will visit again!

This was probably the best stay I have had. Everything is more than ready for you. Felt like staying in my own home. If we thought, we forgot something the house already had it. The pond was great to swim, fish and boat on. Everything provided for all of it. Beautiful property in the woods. Seen wild turkey in the morning walking through the back deck area. Can not stress enough how wonderful of a stay, we will be returning to this location for many years to come.

Birthday Getaway

Property was as advertised. Quiet area with a nice pond and plenty of home amenities. Would recommend to anyone looking for a quiet getaway that is also close to Tenkiller lake.

It was Amazing

This place was great and the host was awesome. She was so pleasant and the house was the best stocked vrbo we had ever stayed at. The fishing was great and my kids enjoyed the paddle boats. We would recommend this place to anyone looking for a peaceful family get away

Highly recommended!

Our stay was great at Babes Bayou. The property is amazing. Stocked with everything you could possibly need. They also have a stash if you accidentally forget something. They thought of everything. The beds were comfortable. The outside was pretty. The hot tub was a great addition. Our boys loved the swing. Great communication with host. Easy check in and check out. Would highly recommend.

Spring Break

This is such a cute and welcoming cabin. The kitchen and bathrooms were well stocked with all the essentials and even some extra goodies. The back porch and hot tub were great for relaxing. Unfortunately, we were in a burn ban during our stay so we didn't get to enjoy the fire pit. We did get to spend time swinging and kicking our feet up in the hammocks. We had a wonderful time. Our only complaint is that the cabin wasn't cleaned well. The toliets and shower were dirty upon our arrival. The kitchen also had crumbs on the counter. We found cleaning supplies under the sink so we were able to tidy up a bit. The beds weren't terrible but you could fill the springs in them. Aside from the minor inconveniences we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this location.

Weekend Wonder

My best friend and I enjoyed a relaxing weekend in Babes Bayou cabin. It was very clean and beautifully decorated. There was ample room and all the amenities were provided. The kitchen was well stocked and there were even fresh eggs. There were 2 bathrooms and multiple beds to choose from. The clean hot tub was the icing on the cake! The owner was intermittently available on site and was very helpful and kind. The property was lovely and peaceful ,and we enjoyed taking the paddle boats out on the pond, swinging on the porch swings, and roasting marshmallows by the fire.This property suited just us 2 (my other 2 friends cancelled) ,but would have been great for a larger group or family/families. It really is a great choice for any occasion. We hope to return again soon!

Secluded Get-a-Way with Easy Access

The property is about a quarter of a mile on a gravel road right off of a nice paved road. Very nice surroundings, easy to get to. The hosts were amazing & worked with us as we had trouble reserving because I waited too long to book (FYI VRBO has a 24 hr rule where you can't book if it's less than 24 hrs from check in.) Our kitchen had everything we needed including large pots and pans, even spices and cornmeal if you catch some catfish from the pond. The beds were comfy and there were even toiletries in the bathrooms, plenty of towels too. There are 3 cabins on the secluded property but didn't feel crowded. The large pond was down the hill with lovely rock formations. The quality of the cabin was top notch, the swings around the campfire were so sturdy with beautiful craftmanship. Take your fishing gear and a filet knife. Sitting on the large back porch was so relaxing, there is even a table and chair set for outdoor dining. We also took our folding chairs down by the lake when fishing, very relaxing. Looking forward to trying out the firepit when we return!

Peaceful & middle of nowhere close to everything!

Great cabin that’s full of the little details that make it awesome! Kitchen is nicely stocked with equipment to cook/bake/grill whatever you want. Had small bags of cereal, muffin mix and smores kit on the bar. Plenty of blankets of all sizes to keep people cozy. Lighting is not in short supply & neither were linens in bathrooms or by the hot tub. There’s 2 other cabins located close by but they don’t feel squeezed together. Outside fire pits with couples swings around them & stacked firewood nearby proved useful. Pond is a short walk down the hill with several path options. Fishing poles with a few lures on the back porch if you didn’t bring any gear. This location is 7 minutes to Vian or 10mins to Gore. Both towns have a few lil shops and 3-5 restaurants for meal options. Harps grocery store in both towns have great selection with decent prices. Tenkiller Dam is less than 20min drive as well as the spillway area for solid trout fishing. The road the cabins are on is gravel and a dead end so traffic is minimal. The only complaints, and they’re minor, we had was there were horseshoes but no stakes for a game. The other is we had brought card games and dominoes but didn’t really have a good spot to sit around and play. The beds are on the firm side so be aware of that. Overall, clean & great cabin that we would stay at again! Booked it for 6 but only had 4 of us able to attend. Could house/sleep 10 without issue.

We loved the property! The house had everything we needed except a mixer! We only had an issue with check in as we were never given our details. No info on how to gain access and also we thought it was a one cabin location but when we realized it was 3 we had no idea which one was ours. I had to google the location to get a number to reach out but was then taken care of very quickly! We plan to return!
