We completely enjoyed our stay! Location is steps from restaurants, shops, and the beach! Mornings on the balcony with coffee were great. The unfortunate hurricane damage to nearby buildings afforded us a clear view of the gulf and sunsets. We would absolutely stay again!

Easy beach stay

Comfortable, no-frills stay for one or a couple. Easy access to beach as well as restaurants and shopping at John’s Pass. Handy parking, nice deck and patio with grill. A few basic items that would be helpful: kitchen linens, basic storage containers and hand soap.

This was a unique beach experience

You are exceptionally close to dining, shopping and entertainment if you want or being on the upper back deck, which is partially covered, allows you casual, relaxing down time. And the beach is hardly a minute away. The best of all worlds!!

Nice place!

What a darling little place and a perfect location. Right across the street from John's Pass and walking distance to the beach. (It's a bit of a walk though) All in all, a perfect weekend place. I would certainly go back.

Great Location

Great location! Beach is an easy walk and shops and restaurants are right across the street. Our upstairs unit was perfect for the 2 of us. We will definitely stay again.

Location location location

We had an amazing stay! Cherie was great we got there earlier than check in and she was very accommodating by letting us get into the cottage early. The cottage is centrally located with a minimal walk to the beach and across the street from the boardwalk. We will definitely be back!! I would highly recommend staying here!

Great Location

Once you're there you do not have to move the car! Except to go to Publix. Very nice studio for two adults. Large balcony with a peek a boo view of the ocean!

Awesome location

This property is just across the street from our favorite tiki bar and you can enjoy the live music in the fenced front yard or the private balcony in the back that you can see the water and beach as you sup your morning coffee. John's Pass boardwalk is across the road with all its little shops and pubs and restaurants. Plenty of boat cruises and beaches. So much to see!

Beautiful

I was visiting my daughter who was transferred to Macdill AFB in Tampa. The location of Cottage on the Pass was excellent. Not to far from anything. 35 min. to Tampa. I stayed 4 nights. I became comfortable rright away. It was a 3 minute walk to the ocean. I hated to leave. Cherie was great. I would love to stay here in the future. Just for a longer period of time next time. Location, location, location!

Super cute and clean unit, with a full kitchen that has everything you need to prepare meals, including a gas grill outdoors. We especially enjoyed sitting on the huge back deck in the morning. Walking distance to EVERYTHING, including the beach. We rarely used our car while we were here! Air conditioner works great and the bed is super comfy! We'll be back!

Cottage Paradise

This was our second time at the cottage. This time we rented the 2nd floor studio. It was very clean and had all we needed for our stay including kitchen utensils, washer and dryer etc.. Location is perfect! Right across the street from John’s Pass and the beach in the backyard. The host is awesome! We will definitely go back soon.

Perfect location, perfect accommodations! Everything was so easy to navigate from parking to check in process! Directly across the street from John's Pass and short walk to the amazing beach! Couldn't get any better! Would love to come back!

Cottage on the pass

Pros: Great price, close to a beautiful beach, great communication with owner. Easy check in and out. Nice facilities, comfortable bed, and we loved the stackable washer/dryer and the private large deck on the upper unit was a definite bonus. Cons: We weren't too disturbed by the live music( it is going from noon to 10pm). Our only complaint would be the traffic noise. Busy street in front and it did get irritating( loud Harleys, horns, etc) and a little hard to get in and out for parking. Overall good experience!

Cozy, adequate place for two, but the music across the street was loud enough to drown out the tv. It was tolerable for the first couple of days but got old real fast. Music from noon to 10:00 pm. If you want peace and quiet this place isn’t for you.

Cherie grew up in South Tampa and always had a love for the beach. Traveling the 20 or so miles to the beach every weekend when she was attending Plant High School. Eventually she moved to Madeira Beach where she owns a real estate brokerage Engel & Völkers Madeira Beach on Gulf Blvd. Finest Real Estate Worldwide! She also owns a vacation rental management company Vicinity Vacation Rentals!

I purchased this property from the long-time owner because I just love the classic beach cottages. I promised her that I would keep the integrity of the cottage, and not tear it down for a new home to be built. The bonus is the wonderful location. The Cottage by the Pass is the epitome of living the beach life.

この宿泊施設の特徴

Cottage by the Pass offers all the charm of days gone by as well as all the modern conveniences. Cottage by the Pass is located just steps from the white sand, with no streets to cross. Across the street is John's Pass Village and Boardwalk. Inside you'll find a spacious studio apartment that features a full kitchen, comfortable living area, queen sized bed in sleeping area and large bathroom with walk-in closet. The Cottage is equipped with WiFi and satellite TV. Outside the double french doors our guests enjoy the large private balcony that offers a peek-a-boo view of the Gulf. The balcony is approx. 400 sq ft, partially covered to allow for a great dining spot.

Walk across the street to hear live music at the Bamboo Beach Bar & Grill, or browse the shops of John's Pass Village.
