We enjoyed our stay at this cabin. It was very clean and well kept. We had everything we need except a washer and dryer. I missed that it didn’t have one. The only reason I can’t give this cabin 5 stars is because it was located in the back of a trailer park. I read this from other reviews but I thought it was like a short term camping site. This was a long term lot with old trailers, which made it look sketchy. The cabin itself was adorable, very comfortable. For the money we paid I expected the cabin would be in a better, safer looking area.

It was a lovely house. We did not realize it was at the back of a trailer park that was run down. We were just a little nervous. We really enjoyed the deck. The house was clean and neat.

This little cabin was adorable and super close to the lake. It’s true that it’s located in a trailer park, but it’s at the end of the road and once you’re inside you forget all about that because the windows face the woods and you don’t even see the trailers. The place was well equipped, very clean, cozy, quiet and affordable. I would stay here again.

Cozy cabin

My daughter and I stayed 2 nights while having a girl's weekend. We enjoyed the coziness of the cabin. It was clean and tidy inside. We did not realize it was in the back of a campground that looked like everyone else lived there permanently. It was nice and quiet which we liked.

House was very nice. Only thing we didn’t care about was the fact it was in a rv park that wasn’t taken very good care of. The house property was taken care of though. Also there was traffic coming in and out of rv park all day and night seemed like to the neighbors trailer. Love that it was close to the lake.

Charming cabin in the woods

Super clean property near the lake. Suggest a revision of the door access instructions - took us a few minutes to figure out how to unlock the door. Also, the unit number was not easy to see after dark. Since one of us is sensitive to scents, we removed some of the air wick stations while we were there. Other than those things, it was a great visit with lots of nice amenities from our hosts.

Hello, we are Tommy and Debbie!

We are the owners of Sunday Morning Rentals. We have been renting out our vacation cabin for the last 10 years and have a 4.8 star rating on another popular booking site- but we are just now including this platform as a booking tool! :)
We and our 3 daughters enjoy spending time together outdoors by exploring area hiking trails, and we thoroughly enjoy our time down at the lake. Winchester has become one of our favorite places to unwind and relax, and we hope you will enjoy the local southern charm as much as we do!

この宿泊施設のオーナーになった理由

We enjoy being so close to the lake, which also makes lake activities easily accessible for our guests to enjoy! We are also able to have that "secluded feel" without being too far from other activities and town!

この宿泊施設の特徴

The cabin is only a 5 minute (0.3 mile), short walk or 1 minute drive to Tim's Ford Lake, Devil's Step Boat Launch. Our property is nestled within quiet woodland, where you will likely see wild animals such as deer, raccoons, armadillo and even bear roaming the property during your stay. With hiking trails, nature centers, gardens, museums, shopping and lake fun all within a 10 minute drive from the cabin, you are sure to enjoy your getaway.
