Broken trash compactor, spit bottle left on deck, very few plug in lights and outlets working, knives dirty, one bathroom not cleaned? Plenty of kitchen cleaning items as a plus. But overall this property not near worth the money.

Beautiful Views

The condo was very spacious and comfortable. Comfortable pillows and beds. Plenty of outdoor space with seating for everyone! We enjoyed the hot tub and used the deck area daily. We slept with the sliding door open to enjoy the ocean sounds, one of my favorite things about being at tge beach

Nice balcony and overall unit space - needs a little updating

Positives: unit is spacious; blinds are good for filtering out the sun's heat but still letting in light; kitchen has an assortment of dishes & utensils; furniture is comfortable and appears relatively new; mattresses are in good condition; balcony furniture is exceptional quality; balcony allows options for both sun & shade.Negatives: bathroom cleanliness was lacking & 2 of the 3 toilets stopped up on the morning of check-out; overall, the unit needs some updating (especially in the bathrooms); hot tub seems to have a few jets that are not functioning.

itrip is the best!

we recently booked thru itrip and i have to say i’ve never experience such a good experience with a rental company! the condo was absolutely the best we’ve ever stayed at and we lived on the balcony!! great place to stay we loved it!!We left Asheville to get away from the hurricane damage and when we got to the beach our car broke down lol Mandy was so helpful and thru out our trip she was in contact regularly and was just a pleasure to deal with! thank y’all for making a rough start to our trip so much better and thanks for being so helpful! will def book thru y’all again!

Amazing stay again!

This is the second time staying in this condo. We love the layout of the condo. The 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms are tremendous. The “beach “ closet filled with beach toys is an added bonus. The updates were noticed as well. The only issue we had, were the outlets in the bedrooms. They were loose and whatever we plugged in, would not stay. I will definitely stay here again though, because the view is spectacular!

We love the property and have been coming to Surfmaster for 10 plus years now this is our first time staying in Penthouse L, and if I'm being honest the hot tub on the balcony was the saving grace for this unit. I was disappointed at the cleanliness of the room ... our feet were black when we went to bed the first night. All of the mattresses need to be replaced everyone complained about their necks and backs every morning. I don't know if this unit is new to being rented and the owners are waiting to get some profits in but I would really suggest they reinvest some of their earnings back into this property because it could be absolutely amazing and it's just misses the mark everywhere you turn. Mattresses aside which I consider to be a major problem... There are a lot of minor issues with this unit that need to be addressed if it was just one thing it wouldn't be a big deal but all of the little things add up. Timer on the microwave does not work, toilet paper holder in the bathroom falls off the cabinet when you go to change a roll, The plastic netting around the balcony is damaged and needs replacing, I found food residue on many items in the kitchen, larger coffee mugs in the kitchen would be nice, and a Keurig for that matter. The Jacuzzi tub in the master bedroom shot out a black foreign substance when I turned on the bubbler and I immediately had to take my toddler out of the tub. Did we have a good time anyways? Yes, we always make the best out of every situation.

Awesome Condo!

This was a perfect fit for us. We each had our own bathroom and bedroom!! The hot tub was a fabulous start and end to each day, and not having to share it with anyone else was amazing!! The view is gorgeous and the deck furniture is very comfortable and sturdy!! The toy closet , shown in the picture, has beach chairs, beach toys, wave boards and many toys for children. The washer and dryer provided extra conveniences. This is not the Ritz Carlton, but the views and the layout made it a wonderful vacation for us. There were games, books, movies and puzzles if we needed inside activities also. We did not have any issues with parking. Communication with management was outstanding! We would stay here again, in a heartbeat.

Surf master Penthouse

Overall, stay was ok. Condo is a little dated. Canvas awning was ripped and crew came in to take it down. There was a hole in the wall under the counter like someone had kicked it in. Water in the hot tub was green and needed more chemicals the first day. Towel bar and some glass mirrors needed repair. Bed coverings and shower curtain needed washing. Place could use a deep clean and some minor renovations. We were out every day golfing and were told by the management company that those things did not impact our stay. Overall, they did not but for the price you don’t expect issues like this. On a positive note, the view was beautiful.

My family loved Surfmaster Penthouse L!

The views from this property were gorgeous! It was in a great location between Surfside and Garden City. We would definetely stay here again. Some of the things we loved were The living room which was spacious and open to the kitchen. The hot tub on the balcony was awesome and the pool downstairs was pretty big plus we never had to wait for a lounge chair. There were plenty of pillows in the rooms. They did provide bath towels but only 2 per bathroom so may want to bring your own. The washer is very small. Also the refrigerator took a very long time to cool our food and really needs to be replaced. Another con was the air conditioning...in the main room it was great but in the 2 bedrooms away from that area it was very warm. There were fans in the rooms but if you like it very cold you may be disappointed. Overall we loved our stay and would do it again!!

The views were amazing from the condo and having the private hot tub was very nice, the facility itself was also nice. The condo, was sadly not up to par, it was very dirty, the walls looked as if they have never been cleaned, the popcorn ceiling was falling, the drywall looked like it was touched up in some rooms and crumbling because it wasn’t done properly. I don’t think they ever heard of dusting, the outside light was hanging by wires. Paying $3200 for a week I expected our place to be at least cleaned, being outdated wouldn’t have been a big issue if the cleaning was done! I’d also recommend stripping all the sheets because ours for sure were not cleaned before we came, the inside ac unit leaked and left a huge puddle of water which we didn’t notice until someone fell in the water. The host put nothing back into the place and it obviously shows.

The perfect location!

It is a beautiful condo. Upon entrance appeared clean but the bathrooms, floors around edges, tiles and floors in all areas need extra cleaning. It is a beautiful place to see details not cleaned. Hot tub was the cleanest I have ever seen, just like brand new. Deck appeared washdd off but next to wall stood dirt/debris. There were 7 bath towels (sleeps 8) that were thread bare. For such a luxiourious place I was disappointed. There were 2 cots but only sheets for 1 cot. Please note the mattress on the cot was very comfortable. The living space and overall layout of condo is perfect for the large group that wants to hang together. We had a great time. The kitchen was spotless. Checking in was a challenge because not all emails were received. I saw your copy of them but I still did not receive them. Since i was traveling so far it was hard for us to connect and i appreciate your effort but reality was i did not have code. Luckily someone came to office as we sat their waiting for a return call from you and they checked to see if there was an envelope for me. The envelope was there and all was good. Lesson learned.. bring your own bath towels and wash cloths. We did bring beach towels so that helped til we could buy some. We have been to the beach as a family for last 7 years and this layout fit our family the best. Thank you for providing a beautiful condo in a great location. Lynn Dennis

Nice view but needs to be updated

It was a great view, a great deck, and a great hot tub. The location was great and close to many venues. Hot water was luke warm at best and too many bugs (they need a monthly service to spray for huge water bugs). When we arrived there was a beer can on the deck of the master bedroom, dirty underwear in the second bedroom in the dresser, and too much sand on the bar stools. We left a chair outside the room one night and we got a warning ticket. We passed a room every night where a wagon full of beach stuff was left out every night and no one gave them a warning or they would have stopped. Faucets, cabinets, and the sliding door off the master bedroom need to be replaced. The price should not only be about the view but also the weekly maintenance needed to maintain a rental.

Wish the extra rental charges weren’t so expensive!

Property is dated, but we read reviews and expected that. Didn’t expect the leaking faucet in the bathroom. We would go back, but not for the price we payed this Summer. The view and the deck are fantastic!

Nice place

The condo was beautiful and was very clean. The view is amazing and with the exception of someone deciding to set off fireworks every night right outside our condo, the condo was quiet. You could not hear the people above you or next to you. The layout of the condo was perfect for our family and had a lot of comfortable seating for everyone. It’s very spacious and a lot of room for kids to run and play. The bedrooms were also a nice size. The deck was beautiful and plenty of space to gather. And as I said the view is beautiful. They gave us plenty of towels, blankets and pillows and were not in need of any of those things. The front entrance is really spacious and nice to be able to leave the beach stuff right there. The only real complaint I have about this property and it’s small one are the outlets. A lot of them didn’t work or things would not stay plugged in.

We had a great time! There were sand toys and boogie boards for the kids which was super nice! Things are a little dated but it's a stay on the beach and in. A great location! Def would book again!

Gorgeous Views and Ultimate relaxation

The view as you walk in is breath taking!! It was everything we hoped for and more. Plenty of space, the hot tub a definite bonus!! Kitchen adequately stocked although I did add a few extras ;). It's a bit outdated and could use some updating but it suited us so really not a big deal! We stayed in the master suite and found it to be a bit warmer than the rest of the house but with the two box fans blowing on us, we slept comfortably. My only other minor complaint is there was never enough hot water. There was 6 of us and someone (usually me lol) was always taking a cold shower. We learned to stagger showers and some would shower at night rather than in the morning. Overall, I would recommend this property! The pool area was never very busy nor was the beach. Always able to find seating/space. We had a wonderful & relaxing vacation!!

Beautiful Views

The view when first entering the condo is amazing. The kitchen was adequately stocked and the condo was clean. It is a bit outdated and could use updating. The private hot tub was an added plus but the cover needs repair. Overall it was a wonderful family vacation.
