Beautiful 3 bedroom right on the beach

This was a beautiful condo on the first door!! The condition was excellent, the owners are fantastic, and the location is amazing!! Just far enough down from the main part of Myrtle Beach to be out of the congestion but still close enough to anything you could need!! Love the beach decor, everything was in great condition and clean, clean, clean!!!

Well stocked kitchen for those who prefer to cook. Always neat and clean Appreciate the ease of entry with keypad and the effortless walk to the beach and back. Good view from side balcony Guests have outdoor pool access. Grandkids ages 18mos. -3yrs also visited each day. Owner is very amiable and quick to respond to any concerns.

Very pleased - Again!

Once again, this condo did not fail to please us! Everything is exactly as you see it in the pictures provided on line. They have replaced the sliding glass door - making it much easier to operate (thank you). Erica and her husband are receptive to comments and suggestions. We would not hesitate to stay here again.

What a real Fine!!!

This unit was ultra clean, well appointed. Easy access to parking which is covered, beautiful pool with a view of the beach. And it is only steps to the beach without dunes. Only 18 units in this 3 story privately owned property, and many are year-around residence who are so friendly and helpful. Couldn't ask for more helpful owners. Everything is high quality for beds to appliances. You are close to piers & restuarants. We will be back!!

Vacation

This was our first time staying south of south Myrtle. The condo was great. It was super clean! My family has been visiting Myrtle and areas near Myrtle for over 40 years. This was one of the cleanest condos we’ve ever stayed in. Owners were great with communication and were readily available if we needed them. We were contacted multiple times by the owners prior to our stay to discuss our trip. The complex is great with the exception of parking which is of no fault to the owners and everyone did their best to be accommodating. Condo is within walking distance of shops, pier, restaurants, etc. Beach lockers make i lt super convenient. Everyone in the complex is friendly! Would definitely stay here again in the future!

Lovely condo

The location to the ocean of this condo is perfection. The furnishings inside are well done and we found everything we needed. We rented the linens, which included bed sheets and bath towels. Both were high quality and extremely soft - well worth the $100. The master bed and pillows were also high quality and in great conditiom - we slept well. The ONLY thing that would prevent us from renting this condo again would be the lack of a direct/full on ocean view. The main view is through the living room sliding glass doors and they face directly into another building. You have to go through the sliding glass doors to the balcony and look to the right to see the ocean. Great views from the balcony but that's the only ocean view and ONLY if you are actually on the balcony. We rented bikes from Woody's Beach Rentals and they were great. They were delivered directly to the condo and waiting for us when we arrived. One of the bike pedals wouldn't turn. When I called for another bike, it was delivered within 15 minutes! This area has plenty of level sidewalks for biking riding. We ventured into the neighborhoods and loved it. All the homes and yards were neat as a pin.

Good and Bad

The location was nice (away from some of the busier areas.) The view from the balcony was very nice. The weather for the week was decent and we did have a couple of really nice beach days. Unfortunately, we had a few issues with the condo. It was not as clean as we hoped, with visible dust, a dead cockroach under the couch, and walls in desperate need of a coat of paint. There were also unsightly stains on the mattress pads, stained pillows, and we didn’t appreciate having to put our “luxury linens” that we had to pay $100 for, on the beds upon arrival. That linen rental thing was odd, because you’d have NO SHEETS if you didn’t pay the extra fee. We would prefer that this was just figured into the original price. We also had issues with the fridge and freezer not working. I don’t have space to go into detail, but it was an issue that interrupted our week multiple times, with multiple visits from a repair person and the owner and caused us to have to throw food away multiple times. What bothered us most was that the owner didn’t offer us compensation or alternative solutions to the fridge problems. She verbally apologized but didn’t offer us anything else. One of the reasons why we like to rent condos is the benefit of having a full kitchen and being able to make a few meals at the condo. Not having a functioning fridge or freezer took that away from us. And to be honest we got sick of constantly having to buy ice for our coolers to keep food cold. We would not stay again

Enjoyable but left with disappointment

I have waited a month to write this review because I was conflicted with even writing it. I had a great time and I loved the condo. It was very clean and accommodating to our family. Great beach and location. And I am I not a complainer....and I would stay again so don’t get me wrong. But there was very bad communication with owner. Which was surprising from past reviews. I had an issue when initially reserving the place as I used affirm and was unsure if it went through. After no response I redid the reservation and got confirmation. Then a couple weeks before our trip we decided to utilize the rental of linens and beach supplies. Again no response. Tried again to contact with no response. So two days before we were leaving I text the numbers listed and again no response. So I finally contacted the emergency contact. I hated to do that but didn’t want to get there and have no linens. She was also surprised that I got no response. Finally we did a response of how that worked. And that was to just leave cash on the table upon departure. My dad was very unhappy with that form of payment. But it was fine with me. Upon arrival it us about 15 minutes to find the unit because by the pictures on vrbo I thought we were ocean front. So I was very disappointed to find that we were ocean view. After texting the owner of my disappointment and the reason of the betrayal of the pictures she was very short with an apology. Which made me feel this wasn’t the first time she had received this complaint. And it was done intentionally. After reading the description it was my fault as I didn’t read carefully to see it did plainly state ocean view. But I think the pictures give a false impression of the unit. Then when we left I told my husband to leave the cash for the linens and beach equipment with the keys and parking pass. I guess he didn’t hear that part and the owner text me about the payment. I explained that I told my husband and after texting him he stated I didn’t tell him. Which I did. I offered twice to send payment by cash app, Facebook or even mailing a check and I didn’t even get a response back. Which was very rude to me. As I explained I had no problem sending the payment. If you weren’t going to worry about it at least say that. So over all our trip was good but very disappointed in the owner and their communication

Very clean and very close and convenient to beach. Nicely renovated and nice little oceanfront pool for the kids. Seth is super responsive and helpful. Would stay again if at Garden City. Only downside, though not Seth's fault, is only umbrellas are allowed on beach. Not even small tent for kids allowed. Just an fyi

Great Location & Easy Beach Access

The owner, Seth, was a gracious host and very responsive! Unit was spacious and clean. Washer & dryer came in handy. There was everything we needed for our stay; we didn’t need to worry about dish soap, detergent, trash bags, etc. We will be back!

Perfect!

My family and I enjoyed this stay so much! Easy access to beach and pool. We don’t live close by and don’t have a ton of storage where we do live, so having to get all of the beach supplies would be difficult. There is a storage space downstairs next to the parking, right next to the beach with chairs, umbrellas, and toys which was perfect for us! I was traveling with my partner and our 3 kids aged 12, 8, and 5 and the space fit us perfectly! Fully stocked kitchen, a table that sits 6 to eat at as well as play games. Several family style restaurants (Bubbas is really good and reasonably priced for everything you get and right in the middle of 4 other restaurants) about 5-10 minute drive down the way as well as arcades (GiGi’s has really good food), shops, bars and a pier all with in walking distance. Seth was very communicative and helpful with anything and everything needed! Highly recommend.
