オンタリオ州マスコカのジョセフ湖にある新しく改装された湖frontのコテージは、トロントからマクティアの町の近くに2時間のところにあります。 このコテージは、マスコカの魅力と伝統を維持するためにアップグレードされましたが、現代の快適さを備えています。 標高580フィートの緩やかな傾斜のある専用ポイントでは、プライベートポイントからすぐに釣りをしたり、砂浜のビーチで日光浴をしたりできます。 コテージは一日中太陽に面して南西にあり、湖の景色は息をbreathむほどです。 プライベートポイントからすぐに釣りができ、カヌーやカヤックに最適なスポットです。

Amazing location

Excellent property and location

We loved our stay! The property was as advertised, spotlessly clean with all amenities you could need. We visited in fall and so loved the fireplace, adjustable baseboard heaters and were cosy. The cottage is on a magnificent headland with water on 3 sides and just gorgeous views from every window. We would love to return again in warmer weather to enjoy the outdoor toys and spaces more!

A beautiful cottage with every convenience. Gorgeous water views from every window and especially from the sunroom. Very well-equipped kitchen. Shallow sandy entry to the water for little ones and lots of room on the dock. Easy access to MacTier or Parry Sound. Host Jacqui kindly offered the use of a pedal boat when she learned that there were toddlers in our group. Thanks for very enjoyable week, Jacqui!

Excellent Stay at Cottage Point!

We selected this property based on its private location, waterfront views, fully equipped kitchen, and it being pet friendly. It was an easy 3 hour drive from Niagara and we were happy with the easy access from Hwy 400. Arrival was smooth. The property owner had been in touch and informed us how to access the home. Cottage was well laid out, spacious, and comfortable. Lots of windows for fresh air and all screens were fully functional (for anyone who hates bugs!) We found the primary bedroom’s bed to be very comfortable, even more so than our brand new mattress at home! That was a nice surprise! Our adult nephew & girlfriend slept in the bunk bed room. The kitchen was fully equipped with everything you could need and it was great to have a dishwasher. We enjoyed all of our meals at the massive dining table. Lots of room to put out a buffet spread and sit around and enjoy! The dock had excellent views and comfortable Muskoka chairs. Bring spf, this spot isn’t shaded but excellent to catch some rays! The fire pit area had an incredible view in the evening to watch the moon and enjoy a fire. Incredible that such a generous supply of firewood was provided! Ample parking on the property. Being a dead end, it was really nice that we didn’t encounter any other vehicles using the road near the cottage during our stay. Aside from the trains, it was perfectly quiet at all times (and the trains didn’t bother us!). We plan to book this property again in the future!

The perfect city escape

Jacqui's cottage was without a doubt such an amazing find! She was the most accommodating host, always easy to reach whenever we had questions and was the most helpful with getting us acquainted with the property and the area. Her cottage is super organized and stocked full of great kitchen supplies, which allowed my friends and I to make the most delicious meals and enjoy family style meals together at the large dining room table. We especially enjoyed the location with the incredible views, the fireplace, and dock to hang out at and the canoes. My group enjoyed our stay so much that we even tried to stay an extra night, but due to the cottage being booked up already, we couldn't! Would highly recommend staying here if you are looking for a perfect escape from the city. Would definitely stay here again and again.

Once discovered never forgotten

Jacqui is a wonderful, attentive, and is an easily accessible host. Booking was smooth and she is very friendly to communicate with which made us feel very welcome. The beautiful photos and the description are absolutely accurate. The place was immaculate when we arrived and it really makes you feel like home. Everything was precise as the listing said and very comfortable. The property is very private and the multiple views of the waterfront are breathtakingly beautiful especially from the point and dock. Whether swimming, kayaking, roasting marshmallows, or just relaxing, then this GEM is the perfect getaway for the whole family.

outstanding cottage

We spent 5 days with our son who was visiting from Edmonton. The cottage was most impressive and very well equipped . Even though we had hoped for warm sunny weather , we concluded that there was no better place in Muskoka to be than around the beautiful fireplace looking out the large window facing lake Joseph. When the sun finally appeared we enjoyed the spectacular colour of the fall leaves. Jacqui has done a superb job in creating a warm comfortable place to relax and enjoy our holiday. We all agreed that it would be a great place to return to in the summer and enjoy all the water activities available.

Perfect Getaway!!

Jacqui and Brad have done an amazing job renovating the cottage. All the finishes are very high end while still keeping the warmth and feel of an original Muskoka cottage. It is very well maintained and has all the amenities you could possibly ask for. The point is very private, great views and you are able to enjoy the sun anytime of the day. It is the perfect spot for swimming, kayaking or paddle boarding, all of which we enjoyed immensely. Our hosts were very friendly and helpful and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay, we really didn't want to leave. Hope to return next year.

A new cottage with a rustic feel

Jacqui and Brad have done a terrific job with this cottage. It is basically brand new but has a great rustic feel, especially the stone fireplace and some little touches like hooks to keep the windows open. The cottage was spotless when we arrived, the kitchen was well stocked and the BBQ worked well. The bed was very comfortable. The dock has great southern exposure, so you'll be in the sun pretty much all day. Jacqui was very helpful, answering questions and providing us with some extra kindling (we were there for a long weekend in the fall and had a fire every night). The only reason we can't give it 5 stars was traffic noise from a nearby road and the noise from trains that woke us up in middle of the night. Overall though we were very pleased with the cottage and Jacqui's hospitality.

Beautiful, tranquil, spacious, private cottage

My husband, 13 year old niece and I enjoyed a glorious fall weekend here. The cottage is beautifully appointed, modern with old style charm and all the creature comforts we needed, including plenty of kitchen tools for cooking indoor and out as well as relaxing. The water was cool so we didn't take advantage of the water toys but the view on the point was breathtaking on the spacious private property and the weather was warm enough to enjoy a swing on the hammock, a seat next to the boathouse, the sun and the sound of the birds and lapping water. Inside we enjoyed the roaring fireplace, cozy couch, comfortable beds and cottage games in the Muskoka room. Jacqueline was a helpful and attentive host and was in touch throughout to make sure all our needs were met. The sunrise and sunset were sensational. We hope to come back again!

A Magnificent Stay in Muskoka

Our family was on an Ontario road trip and knew we had to spend a few days in Muskoka. When we walked into the cottage we were all very so impressed with how lovely everything looked. The decorations , furniture, and amenities were as wonderful as the pictures showed and more. We loved spending our days relaxing at the lake with the provided kayak, canoes, and SUP. The dock by the boat area was pure bliss with just the right amount of sun and cool lake water to cool off if needed. We spent most nights making a fire in the fire pit by the water and roasting s'mores, with a little bug spray the mosquitoes were not an issue. When we weren't outside the cottage had ample space for everyone to spread out and relax. The one instance that we needed to contact the owner the reply was quick and our question was easily answered. We enjoyed the cottage and the privacy it provided immensely and it was the perfect 4 day stop on our road trip.

Muskoka Bliss

I recently completed my 4th year in a row visiting this cottage for the long weekend. It is quite simply a perfect opportunity to experience the majesty of Lake Joseph in a private, well appointed, clean, comfortable cottage. Enjoy swimming off your own dock, fishing off the point (we caught multiple lake trout), enjoying an evening fire and cooking beautiful meals off a brand new Weber BBQ. Brad and Jacqui are great hosts - they make everything available to you, and they respect your privacy. Really nice people. Enjoy.

Charming Cottage

We rented this charming little cottage for a long week-end in September. The owners have decorated the entire space with style and functionality. There has been careful and considerate thought to everything that the casual guest would require in order to enjoy the surroundings. The 270 degree view from both inside the cottage and from the point are wonderful and it gives the guests a true 'outdoor Muskoka' experience. Jacqui was a most pleasant hostess and responded to any of our requests very quickly. If there was one detraction, some distant road noise might be heard from Lake Joseph Road when you were on the point. We highly recommend this cottage and we plan future visits. Richard and Barbara

Perfection!

For the past 3 years, my girlfriends and I have been renting this cottage for our annual girls weekend. It really is the perfect venue for us ladies to unwind, take in the beautiful surroundings, and enjoy each other's company. The cottage fully meets our needs from it's spacious bedrooms, well stocked kitchen and bathroom, and ample common areas, there is nothing more to ask for. We will definitely be renting again in the future!

A wonderful cottage in an amazing location.

The cottage was actually nicer than described, very clean, well equipped and maintained. The owners were very helpful. We cannot wait to go back during another season, hopefully in winter but probably in summer to enjoy the lake even more.

5 Stars, awesome experience

I visited this cottage for the second time over the Victoria Day weekend this year, and I was not disappointed. This is quite possibly the perfect Muskoka getaway - you really need look no further. The moment you walk through the door, you walk into a comfortable, clean, warm, inviting cottage that will feel like home instantly. Jacqui and Brad are two of the best hosts you could ask for. Very friendly, open and accommodating people and they have created a spectacular opportunity to experience the bliss of lake cottage living in well-appointed surroundings. If you do rent here, please treat it with respect and keep it clean as I plan on coming here for many years to come! :)

Best Rental Experience Yet!

As a long-time Muskoka cottager, I was lucky enough to stumble across this fantastic property when looking for the ideal spot for a weekend getaway with old friends. Not only were the owners wonderful but the property is a 10/10. New, clean, and bright on the inside. Spacious and private on the outside. I highly recommend this property to any young families or older groups that are looking for the quintessential relaxing Muskoka weekend.

Beautiful Lake Joseph Retreat

This beautifully and comfortably decorated cottage was a big hit with our four teenagers. Surrounded by woods filled with trilliums and overlooking scenic Lake Joseph we enjoyed two sunny days of relaxation. The layout is spacious and the amenities well appointed. Of all the cottages we have stayed at this one was by far our kids favourite and not only would we recommend it to others but hope to return again. The owners are a delight to work with and our only regret was that we did not have more time to stay.

My husband and I have enjoyed Muskoka cottaging for more 25 years. We love it and treasure the times we have with family and friends. This cottage is beside ours and it is important for us that you enjoy the experience as much as we do.

This property is the nicest piece of land on the entire strip. The cottage is SW facing and situated on a point ( that means you are surrounded by water). You can see the lake from the Muskoka room180 degrees, kitchen, living room, dinning room, guest room and Master bedroom. There is total privacy on 1.5 acres of land. The location is prime and only 2hrs from Toronto. Close to spa, golf courses, restaurants. The cottage has been gutted, renovated and decorated. It is your home away from home.

580 ft of gentle sloping granite frontage guarantees lots of water activities. Included in the rental are 2 kayaks, paddle board and a canoe. The cottage is decorated to reflect the Muskoka charm - new harvest table, granite counter top, new beds...etc. The Muskoka Room is a favorite for reading a book, arts and crafts or for family board games and cards. The fireplace is spectacular. It was originally built as an outside fireplace then the original owner built the cottage around it. At the point, there is a fire pit hand made from Cape Breton ( these fire pits were on the front page of the Cottage Life 20th anniversary edition) ....imagine making s'mores under the moonlight hovering the still lake at night.
