We had a bad experience, the condo smelled musty, the carpet in the bedroom was really bad. The kitchen was missing a drawer completely. We booked for 8 days, but after 4 days we just couldn’t take the smell anymore. We burned several candles and that didn’t help. We contacted management the day we left on a Saturday and again on Monday to let them know it was vacant, they finally contacted me back and tried to blame the smell on the humidity. They have a dehumidifier that ran the whole time. The carpet in the bedroom was so disgusting that there was nothing that could get rid of the smell and was making us sick.

Overall, we really enjoyed the property. Being a grandmother with a kid I found the convenience of the pool and closeness of the beach to be invaluable. However, I do have some complaints about the unit itself.The refrigerator made a terrible noise and the repair man came and fixed the fan. The fix did not last ,it continued to make a racket. He was fine and told me to call if I needed him again. Honestly, I don’t want to spend my vacation dealing repairman. The freezer had a horrendous odor every time I opened it it made me feel sick.The carpet in the master bedroom was disgusting. I can’t believe a rental has carpet this day and age. I had to wear shoes the entire time. I also found the master bedroom bed to be terrible the spring’s creeped and the mattress is old and gross.The master bathroom sink was clogged, every time I brush my teeth. I gagged.The toilet is made for children. Luckily, I am able to get up and down, if my husband had been with me, he would not have been able to use that bathroom.The front door was a mess. The molding was hanging off. There was gaps, and the security chain was broken.The kitchen was very clean as were the floors.They fold out couch mattress was also very old and gross.The patio furniture was also filthy and not very conducive for comfort and sitting outdoors, which should be the main selling point

Fun in the sand, sun and beach

We stayed for 5 nights for a get away trip. We have never been in this location of South Carolina before. but we plan to come back again soon. I loved the effort that Mandy gave us the entire time. I look forward to coming back for another visit. Thank you again!!!

Busy Season

My husband and I went during the busy season. The beach was packed however, we still found a place to lay out. We spent time in the pool and always found chairs to lay out on. Three buildings down is a restaurant The Salted Pickle with good food. The bar within the building is required to sell food by law, but it is microwaved. There is a store within the building selling beach items. A sign said there is a buyback option. I didn’t notice the sign until the last day but would have inquired about beach chairs if I paid attention to it sooner.

Great place! Perfect for us! Loved our view of the ocean. The place was clean and decorated so cute! We will definitely be back! Only thing was I wished the AC ran colder! I am always hot! But other than that, it was perfect! Can’t wait to come back!

Great Place

This condo is well furnished. Kitchen has a good supply of dinner, drink, & cookware. Great view from the balcony. Could use some dish towels & rags. As for the building itself, it only had one working elevator so sometimes the wait was quite long - being on the 9th floor, we didn't really want to be using the stairs.
