20 lakes in 20 minutes cabin, with 2 lakes with in 2 minutes access. great cozy cabin nestled in Harrison mi, duel lake access, short walk from private beach, with volleyball pavillion groomed swim area, boat launch, canals, and short drive from orv trails. fire pit, bbq both here onsite chairs and beach folding chairs here, 30 minutes from mt.pleasant with Soring eagle casino water Park, and Houghton lake, house has queen room, bunk bed room,,futon and folding chair, sleeping up to 6 adults comfortable, full kitchen, full bath, its a great location, very active with summer fairs , and quite neighborhood, great place to spend a summer weekend and vacation stay! any size dogs welcome! The cabin was very cute and cozy! It was a perfect stay for the family with access to the private beach. Checking in was a breeze and the host responded right away to answer any questions. We all had a great time!

Affordable, clean and cozy

This cabin was affordable, in a tucked away neighborhood. It was very clean and cozy. The neighbors yards give a different impression of what the stay may be like, but we never felt unsafe, nor were our things outside ever bothered with. It’s a nice walk down to beautiful Arnold Lake. The host was never nice, communicated well and answered right away. The kids loved the Lincoln logs and it was nice having a dog cage already there for our pup.

Weekend away

My family spent a couple nights for a weekend away. The home was simple but clean in a nice neighborhood. The lake was half a mile away with a small beach. Our dogs enjoyed the water. The host was very kind and allowed early check-in.

It is like title says, a cabin, but it does have modern amenities. Set your expectations as a cabin. Will was a responsive host.

Not ok.

Not trying to get into every bad aspect of this location, but long story short….had trouble with the lock as soon as we arrived, there was a piece of hair in the uncleaned fridge, the room with the twin beds didn’t even have a curtain, we used pillows and sheets to cover it. The bunk beds didn’t have a ladder for my youngest to even climb up on. The sheets were not clean and the mattress had stains. The neighbor’s house on the corner was pretty much a junk yard and the guy across the street was up super late playing vulgar music. We ended up leaving a day early. The property owner was nice and did end up refunding me for the one night. I hate to even leave a review like this. But I wish I had known before I wasted our time and money, you should know too. We visited this location last August, hopefully they’ve made changes since.
