Secluded Sanctuary
My girlfriend and I stayed in March 2024. We loved this house! It's in a quiet neighborhood, and feels very peaceful. The house is decorated beautifully, and has many great touches - from the paint colors and the domed ceiling, to the inlaid tiles in the concrete, the colorful flower pots, and tasteful artwork.
In addition, the house had so many things to make our stay comfortable - lots of bath supplies (shampoo etc), lots and lots of towels, plenty of kitchen supplies (plates, bowls, cooking utensils, etc.).
The backyard with the heated swimming pool was definitely a highlight. It's a small pool, but it's in such a nice setting and with a great view of the hills and the bay.
The house is down a fairly long dirt road, so it takes a few minutes to get even to the first paved road. It didn't rain, but I imagine when it does the road could be a challenge.
Communication with the owner and manager was pretty good, not a prompt as what I'm used to with other house rentals. But they did always respond, and were very helpful.
The house instructions we were provided a few days before check-in turned out to be outdated in a couple of ways. They say the manager will meet us at the property at check-in for a tour and walk-through. In fact, he just texted us the lockbox code, which was fine with us. Also that the filtered house tap water is fine and safe to drink - in fact they don't recommend drinking it, and they did provide us with plenty of bottled water.
