We had a great time!! Neil loved being near the water...I loved the quiet. At home we have a lot of traffic due to gas and oil, so I really appreciated the peace and quiet. Thanks for allowing to enjoy this week!!!

The property was gorgeous and clean. It was nice they had everything there which made our travel nice. And the view was absolutely breathe taking. We were very happy staying there and can't wait for next year. Thank you again for your hospitality and warm welcome.

Amazing location, neighbors, quiet and friendly. Lots of unexpected extras like fishing poles, beach umbrella, games, even a cooler. The beds were not the most comfortable but I didn't go there to sleep. I loved the stay, loved the price. We'll definitely be back

The septic system needs attention.

Not crazy about the David Besse plant in the area. Otherwise the beach life was great.

We had a lovely stay ... Accomodations are mostly clearly represented in the pictures and descriptions online. The bathroom is quite small and narrow - just know if youre a very tall (over 6'2)or larger person (350 ...as I am) it will be challenging to use. Be sure to take sunscreen, and bug spray. I would also recommend bottle water for drinking. (There's a Dollar General near by should you need anything! )Recommend to young families and agile folks...

Beautiful location. Great nature and birds.Kitchen pans and silverware slim. Side tables would be nice in bedroom. Smart tv only worked on you tube. Kids loved games.

Love being right on the beach!

You can't beat the location...right on the beach! That is the biggest pro to this property! The enclosed sun room offers GREAT views on the water - LOVED IT! The fact we could bring our doggos made it extra special :-) Checking was a breeze and the hosts were very prompt in their communication :-) There are a few sand toys for kids (didn't apply to us) but there are no other water/beach type equipment to enhance the stay (although there are rentals nearby it would have been nice to have had a paddle board, water mat, etc to be able to use). The listing stated there was a foot scrubber by the back door but it was not there during our stay. There is an outdoor shower sprayer so that was very helpful in keeping the sand from inside the home. There was a fire pit on the patio and a few logs nearby so we were able to have a fire but only for one night due to no other wood available. Also (and no fault to the host) the stable flies are INTENSE this time of year - BRING BUG SPRAY DURING THE SUMMER!.The beds.. not so comfy :-( The home truly could use some outdoor seating - that was a BIG con to this trip. The host does provide 3 folding lawn chairs but there is nothing else available for the patio (also an outdoor table of sorts could be very helpful for dining perhaps with an umbrella). We also experienced a lot of issues trying to get the TV to connect so we ended up having to screen cast from our phones if we wanted to watch any TV. Overall, I we would recommend this house :-)

Love the Wildlife!!!

Lake Erie beachfront cottage was in a beautiful setting and definitely right on the water. It was beautiful with lots of gorgeous swallows, purple martens, seabirds and geese. There were several items that were not onsite that were included in the listing, such as; a fire extinguisher, hair dryer and a working outside shower and hose to rinse the sand off. We did inform the management about these missing items, but no action was taken. The master bedroom definitely needs at least one dresser and a nightstand to make guests more comfortable. The ceiling fan should have a light, just like the other bedroom has, because the lighting in the master is poor. Overall we enjoyed our stay and the neighbors were very friendly.al items that were not on site ninon s

Great Stay

Property was as listed. Had a storm one night when the sand came up to the house, but we liked feeling part of nature without worrying about being swept away. We will likely return!

Mid-week Lake Front vacation

We truly enjoyed our time on Lake Erie. Being right on the water was really great. The enclosed porch was a lovely location for our morning coffee.Our dog definitely loved walking alone the beach.Overall, we had a great time relaxing and exploring the area. We would highly recommend staying here if you are looking to explore Lake Erie.

Great place with a great view!

My wife and I visited this property for a long weekend getaway. The house was very clean and we loved being so close to the water. Although the weather didn’t cooperative during our stay, we will definitely be back!!!!

A perfect escape at the lake.

The house was clean and was just what we were looking for. Couldn’t be more “on the lake.” Love the secluded location, the view and the amenities.

Wonderful place

Quiet, perfect view of the lake. Beach and neighborhood quiet and secure. Saw many birds including one the dove into the water and emerged with a fish. Good for the soul.

Beautiful little getaway

We were very happy with our stay, the house was very clean and the location right on the lake with a beach right outside your patio couldn’t get any better. It was a very relaxing and enjoyable time. If we had to say one thing at all was the bed in the master bedroom is kinda small for two people but it wouldnt keep us from staying again. Other than that no complaints at all.

Oak Harbor Waterfront Cottage

Cute cottage so close to the lake we felt like we were on a house boat. Great views from the all season room. Although close to other houses, it felt very private. And close to Port Clinton restaurants and shopping.
