Golf Buggys made life and travel extremely easy. Family members could come and go as they pleased to beach.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This house was simply adorable. The master was nice and the kids bunk room was super cute. The extra bed under the stairs was perfect for one child to sleep. It is one of the furthest houses from the beach but I loved having the exercise. The a/c went out during our stay so it was hot for a couple of days but they worked hard and did everything they could to get it going again.

Family Vacation Review

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Driftwood Cove was a very nice house but for the money that we paid we were very disappointed in a few things. Check in was at 3:30pm we were not able to check in until 4:30pm an hour makes a huge difference when there are children and multiple families waiting. The air conditioner was not working properly in the upstairs so they had to put portable units upstairs but it did take them a long time to cool the upstairs down. I would not stay again until the AC is fixed properly. There were several times we saw roaches, I understand that bugs can happen especially with multiple families staying in the houses and people constantly brining in food but for the price I would expect that these types of things would be prevented and the houses would be sprayed more often. There is no parking at this house. We had 6 vehicles and you can only fit 2. The house is nice and the beds are comfortable and the property is beautiful much nicer than other places for sure. But you do definitely pay for where you are staying nothing is cheap by any means! Overall everyone had a good time.

Perfect place to stay

A week at the beach!

We chose this house for the abundance of extra beds in the home perfect for two teenagers, a toddler niece, grandmother (slept under the stairs), and sister-in-law. Two king beds is fantastic! The master king was firm, but comfortable. No mosquitoes on or off the beach as other reviewers have mentioned. The kitchen is well stocked for cooking and baking—we made a peach cobbler. The back porch bed swing is the best!! Don’t miss it for the first couple of days like I did...after that it was my afternoon read/nap place. The only reason I gave four stars on the general condition is that the living room furniture and master bedroom rug have some stains. We really appreciated the umbrella, chairs and beach towels that came with the house, as well as the pack and play, seat type high chair, and toys/games/books. Thanks for a great week at CS!

Wonderful house in Cinnamon Shore

Staying in Cinnamon Shore is always a treat. This house fulfilled all of our expectations. Beautiful house in a beautiful setting! The owners have gone above and beyond to provide a warm and welcoming home - there are games, puzzles, even workout equipment in addition to a fully stocked kitchen.

Wonderful House - Great Time!

The house has a nice, open and practical layout with a well equipped kitchen. The patio outside the kitchen with the grill is a winner.All in all this is a 5 star place but the maintenance was not up to par:- There was no water (faucet) in the kitchen when we arrived, it had been turned off since there was a water leak.- Maintenance came and did a temporary fix. The day after the faucet didn't work and no water again - Maintenance again - nothing he could do.Being a Landlord myself I know things happen and you just deal with it.In a situation like this it would be nice to get consistent communication:- I was told "sorry we didn't know this but we will fix it".- Another person told me the 2'nd day "Sorry, a new faucet is ordered but we have not received it yet. So I asked "why wasn't Informed"?At any rate the people in the office are all very nice but they don't know how to handle a situation where a renter pays $7000 for a few days and there is no water and the renter has to go to the bathroom for water for coffee, pasta etc. The hot water faucet worked but it leaked water all over the countertop so we couldn't use it.The office manager an I spoke on the 3'd day and we concluded that there will be no water in the kitchen for our stay and we would have to deal with it.She was nice and professional - But what can she do in this situation?!Excellent place - we had a great time - and we might very well come back to the same place.

Reviewer Comments: Just arrived, undoing the bags, opening a bottle of wine after 4 h drive to relax, and the bell sounded, as it took me some time to reach the door I found a guy opening the door of my rental house and coming in..., he was going to the garage to start the sprinkler system..., incredible...., BTW: Port Aransas beach is one of the worst beaches that I saw in my life, full of trash everywhere, imagine something and you will find it..., incredible dirty..., gulf effect they say, but full of truckers at night partying does not help, as well as no having a commitment from the city to keep their beaches clean..., why to rent a expensive house near the beach if the beach is a mountain of manure..., and I am not overreacting..., said this, the house is very nice, just location and lack of communication between the staff...

This property needs to be better maintained

Reviewer Comments: The AC had issues, the water heater had issues, the fridge ice maker/water dispenser did not work, the trash can drawer could not be fully open so hard to put trash in it. Because of all these issues we had to have repair men at the house the first few days taking away from our valuable vacation time. Overall the place needs to be better maintained based on the high prices that are being charged. I am ok to pay high prices, but then I expect the property to be in good working condition so I can focus on enjoying my stay, not meeting repair men to fix the house I am renting.
