We had 14 family members for a pre-Christmas get-together. It was a great time of year to do it because it wasn't crowded and felt like we had the beach to ourselves. The weather was in the low to mid 70s.

Great house for 12!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This is a beautiful home which is a 5 minute walk to beach and pools and a short walk to shop and restaurants. We could have used the 2nd living area with 6 kids as we’ve had in the past. Also the 2nd bunk room on 3rd floor shares the bathroom on 2nd floor with the persons staying in the bedroom on that floor (which we wished had been a king size). The mostly screened in deck was very nice with a view of sea grass and vegetation.

House is well stocked with appliances, utensils, etc. There is a high chair and pack n play. Baby gate is listed as available in the home, however we could not locate one. There are lots of stairs and we had 2 babies. The gate would have been nice. Overall the house suited our 3 families fine.

Wonderful home with everything we needed

The kitchen island was perfect for group breakfasts and lunches. We appreciated the large Keurig and panini. Beautiful home. It also worked well to play games when the weather was cold. It was very clean, which we appreciated. The house was the perfect walking distance to everything in CS. We still rented golf carts for the girls for driving on the beach and into town (20 min via beach). However, CS needs a sign before the Main Street exits that there are no golf carts on Highway 361. The first afternoon, one group took a cart out and got a $300 ticket.

Mamas Happy Place RESCUED our Spring Break!

Our family had a fabulous time in Cinnamon Shores! This was our first visit to the community, but we will definitely be back. The house had MORE than enough space for the six of us to spread out, and the kitchen was well equipped to cook full meals~considering all the restaurants were closed due to Covid-19. The house was within walking distance to the beach & pool~we didn’t need to rent a golf cart. There were a few minor glitches-bunk bed lights in the loft did not work, there was kitchen cabinet door in need of repair, and the back doors upstairs were difficult to latch. In addition, MBR pillowcases were stained. There was also no extra trash bags. A little disappointed that we were told that everything would remain open in the resort-only to discover that was not the case (gym & dining establishments closed). All in all though, super satisfied with our stay. Happy we had an opportunity to do something over our Spring Break.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We have stayed at Mama's Happy before, which is the reason we came back. It fits our multi-generational family of 11 very well. The kitchen is well equipped. It is close to the beach, fishing and lots of fun. The big problem is the very poor connection to the internet and TV cable. One of our family had to do some work and had to go out to get a connection. The TV cuts out continually and often. The internet coverage is very weak and SLLOOOWWW! There is some maintenance that needs doing, but over all the house is in good condition. The ice maker did not work. The staff at Cinnamon Shore were excellent in coming to help, but could do nothing about the TV. They put a small refrigerator in the down stairs to help.

This is our second year staying at cinnamon shore, and I could tell there was a huge decline in service from the front desk. We had issues every single day with our chairs / umbrellas. One day, they were hours late to setup . The other three days they setup wrong amount of umbrellas, and we had to call and request them to fix the issue. The mamas happy house had a lot of bugs. A lot of roaches on the first and second floor. The third floor bunk beds were covered in ants inside the sheets. Our kids couldn’t sleep in there. I told the front desk and they didn’t apologize or even care

It is very well maintained, clean and provided a good floor plan layout for our multi-generational family trip. The screened in porch was so nice to keep the bugs and mosquitos out. Cinnamon Shore has so many amenities for families. The pools, activities and restaurants on site were all great. We hope to return again soon!

Mamas Houseet our sleeping, cooking, entertainment, and lounging needs we could have ever asked for. Cinnamon shores has all you need right in the community snd onto the beach. We loved the s’mores night on beach, lawn games, fishing at the ponds, the circle lawn entertainment, and the golf cart drives. Makes for the best 2.5 hr drive to enjoy a southeast coastal experience BUT in TExAS!

Everyone but the kids had their own bathroom and plenty of space to play cards or sit outside. We enjoyed the location and the friendly staff.My only complaint is that Cinnamon Shore does not recycle. This is very disappointing for a progressive place so close to the beach. I think your company could do better to protect the beautiful area around you. I would also suggest pickle ball, basketball or tennis courts to be added to the green space. The pools were lovely but super crowded and a little dirty.

It is in a decent location, not walkable to the beach or town center really, but easily accessible with a golf cart. The home was in a great location and plenty big for our family consisting of 14 people. We especially loved the screened in back porch ( which kept pesty bugs out). Their were minor hiccups but nothing that wasn’t taken care of by maintenance almost immediately. Would definitely stay there again....

Great Trip

The house was in great shape - we would definitely rent it again. Only bad experience was lack of communication from the property manager. We tried to connect with them for a week leading up to the trip to get details on Covid and other things. We never could reach them - to the point that we almost didn’t make the drive down. When we arrived, they said it was because they had been busy. No return text, email, nor phone call - seemed unacceptable. Once we arrived, the trip was great - and the staff that was there was friendly.

Toilet paper and soaps (dishwasher) detergent was not enough. Tried to reserve surfing for the kids and it didn't work. Restaurant closed on Sundays during peak season doesn't make sense. Garbage bin (outside) was full when we arrived.
