Our modern cozy cabin in the woods is on over forty acres of trails to hike or snowshoe right out the cabin door. We are located twelve miles from Hayward or Cable. The Birkie "OO" trailhead is only 3.7 miles away! Just off snowmobile trail 5. Over a dozen lakes within 5 miles. Great restaurants close by. Surround yourself with peace and quiet of the Northwoods. The Cabin at Tamarack Trails is the perfect place to relax, enjoy nature and the many activities the Hayward Lakes area has to offer.

Hayward Fishing Trip

Great place to stay. Very quiet and secluded yet easy to get to and conveniently located. The cabin itself is top quality craftsmanship and very clean and well kept. I would definitely stay here again!

Great place!

We had a great time staying at this cabin. Hosts were very communicative and accommodating. The place was very clean and functional. Beautifully build and a great location. Would recommend!

Beautiful little cabin. The peace and quiet on the patio was so amazing. There was walking trail behind the cabin which was nice for our morning walks. The owners were very friendly and accommodating. Definitely will stay here again if we trip to Hayward.

Perfect newer clean modern cabin set in the woods! Great location for snowmobiling, very close ( 1/4 mile) to trail. Driveway loop made parking with a trailer easy. Restaurants nearby. Very well insulated and radiant heat felt great with sub-zero temperatures outside. Hot shower with demand water heater and comfortable beds! Hosts Christine and Carl were very pleasant and helpful. Would love to stay again in the future! Highly recommend!

The attention to detail and high end features (towels, beds, bedding, toiletries, kitchen appliances, etc.) riveled a 4.5 - 5 star hotel. It was hospital clean as well. Communicating with Christine was a breeze, and they met me at check in to go through everything. Everything is "high end rustic", to the point that even the ventilation caps outside in the grass (which in reality for all cabins are just 4 inch wide PVC pipes sticking out of the ground) were expertly camouflauged with birch bark to blend in with the birch trees nearby. I did have a concern when booking that I would hear sound from nearby route 77, but I never heard anything inside the cabin and enjoyed the peace and quiet of the surrounding woods and paths.
