We had a wonderful stay here. Dan and Heidi were wonderful hosts and were very responsive. The cabin is lovely and has everything a family could need to an extended stay. The home is conveniently located near all the main attractions around Lake Tahoe and great restaurants. It is also located in a nice private community away from the business around the lake. I Would definitley recommend staying here.

Great Place & Location

My family and I were in Tahoe for a family reunion and we were fortunate to stay at this home. Great location with trail head nearby, very comfy home for the 6 of us, easy access to all of SLT, and great communication with Heidi and Dan. We wouldn't hesitate to stay here again. Wonderful place to stay with a wonderful host!

I can’t say enough good things about our stay!! we had a wonderful time. The host was very friendly and accommodating. The home is beautiful and can accommodate a group comfortably. The beds were very comfortable and we all slept well. It was the perfect place for me and my friend to celebrate our birthdays with my sister. Would absolutely stay here again! Thank you to the host for such a personal touch and caring about how our trip went! I hope that all of our experiences are as good as this one! Wishing you all the best and thank you again!

We had a excellent vacation. The cabin was in good condition. And it was in excellent location evening was up to 10 minutes drive. Area was so quiet. The host was prepared evening for our stay. They were reachable and were abele to fix "problems" quickly. Highly recommend. 👍👍👍

Easy at home feel for a tournament weekend

We had a soccer tournament in Tahoe and this was so centrally located. House had eveeything we needed and was such a nice place to come home to. The girls "rolled on the carpet before every game." It was good luck!

Our family truly enjoyed our stay in this house. Nestled among the pine trees near Lake Tahoe, this cozy chalet-style house offers a perfect retreat from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Beautiful house & great location!

This is a great house located near (5 minute walk) beautiful National Forest Land hiking & mountain biking trails. Also convenient to all of South Lake Tahoe. We had four adults sleeping separately, which was comfortable in the three bedrooms + loft. We would love to stay again!

Wonderful

The property was all it was advertised. Clean, well appointed, and easy drive to Heavenly. The owners were very accommodating to any questions during our stay. Highly recommend this property.

Perfect Location

Me and two of my buddies stayed at property for the weekend to do some mountain biking. Property is in perfect location to hit the mountain bike trails. The house is nice and homey. Very clean throughout. Great communication with the property managers. They are very friendly and offered their assistance if we needed it. I would definitely return to this location.

Great spot for some team bonding!

We had a girls soccer tournament in Tahoe and this was perfectly located for easy access to all the fields! Stayed with 3 other teammates and parent! Great times!

lovely quiet neighborhood

Nice property for our party of 7. Host had create communication and were very friendly. Just far enough away from the hustle and bustle of south lake. I would recommend staying there if you needed a peaceful getaway.

SLT a View from the Lake 2023

1st time rent of boat to tour lake and sites, especially emerald bay an fleur de lac estimate. Awesome. Met connections in Carson and Genoa for history collection of 1800s. Been comin here since 1993 for vacations. Sad to see changes over 30 years, but still has its reminiscences of past, you just have to overlook the new and continued challenges short term renters have to overcome. God Bless America and keep SLT, God's Country safe and clean.

Amazing stay

This rental was above our expectations. There was 6 of us and was very comfortable with all the space we had. Beds were great! Kitchen was very well supplied. We will be back. Owners were great responders. Thank you for allowing us to stay.

Fantastic Tahoe Getaway

This property was perfect and even better than we expected. Dan and Heidi gave us all of the information we needed for a smooth check-in process and answered any messages we sent very quickly. The house was well furnished, the kitchen had everything we needed and the beds very comfortable. We are looking forward to staying here again when we return to Tahoe.

Family's February Snow Vacation

This is our 6th year staying at Thomas' house, and nothing but memories. My boys look toward going to the 'snow' every February. Plenty of memories being made and plenty more to be made. Their house is in a perfect location. There was LOTS of snow this year. Looking forward to next year.

It has been our privilege to host guests at our home from all over the world. Fortunately, we found the area where our home is located, Montgomery Estates, after much searching for a home at Lake Tahoe. It was a perfect blend of a serene area and close to great trails. Centrally located to the lake, town and Heavenly Ski Resort makes it the perfect location. Having vacant space behind us and to one side (conservancy property), affords more privacy. We love the relaxation the mountains and forest provide, along with the beauty of Lake Tahoe to enjoy year-round.

Our favorite thing to do in the summer is boating on the Lake. Also, we love utilizing High Meadow Trailhead, a short walk from our home, for hiking. There are many great bike trails that we love within a short drive. If you like mountain biking, there are trails just a few blocks away from our home. During winter we love to snow-shoe at High Meadow Trailhead. Family members enjoy skiing at nearby Heavenly Resort, 10 minutes away.

Once you experience Montgomery Estates, you will fall in love with it too!

After vacationing in beautiful Lake Tahoe for many years, we decided that Tahoe was always going to be a special place for our family to enjoy for years to come. We started by staying in hotels, then purchased a timeshare at the Ridge Tahoe that we used throughout the year. Finally, we decided to find a home in a quiet, forested neighborhood, away from city noise, but close enough to enjoy the great Lake Tahoe amenities: Lake activities, casinos, shopping and skiing, without having to drive very far. Montgomery Estates was the answer, and we have loved vacationing here ever since. Check it out, and you'll see why this is such a special place at Lake Tahoe!
