Choose the Fox’s Den for a much-needed recharge in the peaceful serenity of the Western North Carolina mountains. This 2-story, 3-bedroom, 2-bath cabin has 2 living rooms, multiple decks, a sauna, a Peloton bike, and access to the fabulous white sand beach at Mirror Lake. It feels like a tree house, and you’ll feel yourself relax as soon as you walk in our green door.

Located in the peaceful Riverbend gated community, the Fox’s Den is just minutes away from all that Lake Lure and Chimney Rock have to offer, including shopping, hiking, and dining options.

Going on vacation doesn’t mean you can’t maintain your fitness… maybe just a little. At the Fox’s Den you can get your cardio with our Pelaton Stationary bike. Get pumped using our BoFlex weight bench with adjustable dumbbells. There are bands and yoga mats to ensure you find that perfect vacation workout.

After you train and hydrate, try our infrared red light therapy Saunabox Sauna while playing your favorite music/podcast on the Bluetooth speaker.

The kids are going to love this place. We have access to the white sand beach of Riverbend’s Mirror Lake. We have some floats, a sandcastle kit, and some beach chairs for the perfect beach day amongst the mountains. There are 2 sets of cornhole boards, along with a ladder golf set, for afternoon tournaments.

You can catch the rays on our large deck with relaxing sun chairs. For rainy days, there are plenty of games and books, along with a vintage Pac-Man game, foosball, and Plinko in the downstairs living room. Each room has its own smart TV with strong Wi-Fi.

Do your dogs swim? If not, they may learn how during their stay! Well-behaved dogs are allowed with a pet fee, and you can take them to Riverbend’s Old Swimming Hole on the Broad River. With plenty of sticks to play with, it’s a haven for doggos. We also have a large crate for pooches who prefer to have their own space.

Spend evenings roasting marshmallows and make memories at our beautiful stone fire pit. Our fireplace in the downstairs living room makes cold nights cozy.

You’ll be able to cook for your entire family with our fully stocked kitchen. Enjoy our easy-to-clean Vitamix blender, perfect for your healthy morning smoothie, or make a fun beverage for you, cuz… you’re on vacation! You’ll also find a crock pot, Ninja blender, a combination drip/Keurig coffee machine, stand mixer, and all the pots and pans you’ll ever need. Don’t want to cook inside? Our grill is attached to a propane tank, so there’s no need to bring your own propane. There’s plenty of outdoor seating for perfect meals on the deck.

We went all out with our beds. You’ll continue to charge your battery on our memory foam mattresses that will ensure a restful sleep. Each of the two upstairs bedroom is equipped with one queen bed. The downstairs bedroom has a full-size bed on the bottom and a twin up top. Have even more folks? The downstairs sofa has a pull-out queen bed. Need white noise? We have a few fans for you too, both overhead and the plug-in kind too.

Maybe you need to catch up on some emails while on vacation. We don’t recommend it, but we get it. That’s why the upstairs bedroom has a small desk and office chair.

This whole time you’re recharging. Guess what?! Your vehicle can recharge too. We have a level 2 charger plugged into a 220v outlet (upon request).
