We have stayed here 4 or 5 times now, we love it and we can take our little dogs. It’s close to the Main Street, beach, surf club, Sunshine Plaza and the unit has everything you could wish for. We always enjoy our time there and will definitely be back.

This place was the best! As advertised, it's got everything you could wish for: beautiful layout, comfortable space, the kitchen is stocked with all the appliances and equipment you could wish for, and everything you'd want to take to the beach/river (beach towels, boogie boards, stand-up paddle boards, beach seats). We stayed for a month, and could happily keep our kids (6 and 8 years) occupied, between the beach, the river, very easy bus routes up and down the coast, easy walks to grocery stores, lots of local gyms, walkable aquatic centre, lots of local playgrounds, amazing wildlife. All around wonderful! The hosts were very responsive to any small issue or question that arose. A lovely place to stay! So thankful.

Lovely apartment in excellent location

The apartment is charming. Feels like home and fully equipped for all of our needs. Private front garden with large table, BBQ and day bed.Easy walk to coffee shops and the beach.A most comfortable and relaxing stay.

Great spot a short walk to the beach

We loved the character of this architect designed property. It was perfect for my two young adult children and I to share some quality time, with a queen bed each and space to entertain family who visited for dinner. A great level of kitchen amenity and thoughtful local dining suggestions in the house manual. Beds were very comfortable and it’s a nice neighbourhood a short walk to beach, shops and cafes.

Great Unit near to everything

We have stayed here now 3 or 4 times. We love it as it’s close to everything and we are allowed to take our little dogs. Everything you could wish for is in the unit. Beach chairs, towels, beach trolly. Very comfortable-fully equipped kitchen, BBQ, deck area, day bed outside. Cannot fault it at all.

Excellent location

Amanda was a great hostess. Responding immediately to any questions we had. This property was in a fantastic location with access to the ocean, swimming pool, shopping and restaurants all within walking distance so no vehicle required. Our only concern was the lack of a ceiling fan in the main living area which would have made our stay more pleasant. The property has lovely greenery surrounding it and we enjoyed the private outdoor dining space.

Cathy so happy you enjoyed your stay and early check in. We can’t add a ceiling fan as that requires Re roofing to get electrical up there. We do have a dyson fan and heater so guests can move if they require more air. The award winning architect designed one home so we have air flow of you open the doors and windows to get a breeze.

Great location and had all we needed

There had been a miscommunication with cleaners and the apartment had not been cleaned. This was sorted very quickly and the owner generously offered some compensation. The owner lives overseas but was very responsive to any communication. The unit is well stocked. While dog friendly, the grassed area was not secure so we needed to supervise our pup there. The deck was a great place for him and for us to be most of the time. Thank you for hosting us.

Maroochydore - home away from home

The beachhouse had every comfort , stylish furniture and lquality linen. A home away from home. Would be great for families,as extras such as surfboards, books, toys, are available. Plenty of rooom to be outdoors, some undercover, some in the open with a barbeque. It was great to be able to have our little dog with us. It rained most days so we appreciated being able to use the washer and dryer. I could see children loving being able to climb the staircase to the loft bedroom. This house may not work so well for 2 couples as there is only one bathroom. We had 2 adult grandchildren with us for a night and managed quite well but probably a week of sharing a bathroom would be testing.

Everything you need & pet friendly

This property was in a great location. While it wasn't at the beach, it was only a short walk to Cotton Tree beach and shops. A few issues - I received an email that was supposed to give me details about where to find the key. However the email had no information so I had to contact the owner. The price advertised on VRBO was misleading. there were 3 extra fees - general cleaning, a pet cleaning fee AND tax. Why a cleaning fee is separate I have no idea. I have never seen this before. The price advertised should include this. At least you can see the REAL price up front. An additional pet fee I can understand. This is an American site so beware of the price. The cost was considerably more with all the extra fees. Check what currency you're looking at. If you live in Australia, use an Australian site instead.

Overall the house was great. Unfortunately when we arrived I noticed the hand towels and tea towels were damp as if they were taken from the washing machine and hung up.The sheets and pillowcases in both the downstairs bedrooms were damp as well that I had to strip the beds and put them through the dryer. My bedsheets were very damp that the underlay was also damp. We ended up having to sleep on top of the doona with the extra blankets from the cupboard.In all fairness I contacted the owner straight away and she was very apologetic and was going to speak to her manager so it wouldn’t happen in the future.Overall nice spot on a quiet street close to the beach and shops.
