Make some memories at this unique and family-friendly home. This 4 bedroom, 3 bath, Victorian Lady has a wonderful history! It is one of the few homes to have survived the great 1911 fire. The charm and whispers of yesteryear, combined with modern amenities, will delight you. The Riverwalk is steps away (enjoy water views from your front bay window.) You're a short walk to all downtown amenities: shops, ice cream, theatre, restaurants and the sandy beaches of Lake Huron at Oscoda Beach Park!

I am a fan of the uniqueness that can be found through renting privately owned properties instead of staying at mass hotel, motel, and resort properties. I also have an eclectic range of interests and perspectives, and a desire to represent my personality openly through my design choices and amenities. I am excited about the prospect of being able to enhance a family's experience by offering my home to them.

Northern Michigan is absolutely beautiful and is a gem that took me nearly 50 years to discover. Oscoda, MI is a quant "summer resort" town on Lake Huron that has charm, character, and a unique history. This home is conveniently located four blocks from the beaches of Lake Huron. A 10 minute walk takes you to Oscoda Township Beach Park, which has a pier, slides, swings, a playground, a basketball court, a skate park, picnic tables, and grills. Out the front door of the home is the Piety Hill River Walk with views of the Ausable River. If you wanted to, you could stay here for a week or two, and never drive your car. You can walk to stores and shops, restaurants and bars, ice cream shops, coffee shops, gift shops, the hardware store, a local museum, the movie theater, kayak, canoe, and raft rentals, and the beach. A drive of less than 5 minutes gets you to everything else you would need, such as fast food options, grocery stores, bowling alley, gas stations, party stores, and so on. There is a lot of nature to explore in this area, including state parks, light houses, sand dunes, dams, rivers, lakes, etc...

This home is one of only 25 residential structures that survived the Ausable/Oscoda fire of 1911. It has the character and beauty of a classic Victorian home built in 1904, with upgraded and thoughtful amenities, and a colorful personality that represents the diverse interests of the owner through design aesthetics, and the use of original artwork.
