Welcome to Huron Sunrise Vacation Rentals! We are currently making significant upgrades to this already beautiful home including:
* New brick paved patio and fire pit in the back yard
* New flooring upstairs
* Adding TV's to every bedroom
* Adding an additional bed to the bunk room to allow for groups of up to 13
* New lighting
* Upgrades to the basement including new furniture and TV
* New paint throughout
* New landscape in front and back

Due to these upgrades we have blocked dates through Mid-April. We will add pictures as projects are completed.


This walkable downtown 5 bedroom home has everything you need for your Oscoda getaway! You can't beat the location...less than a block to Oscoda Beach Park which boasts a beautiful sandy beach, picnic area, skate park, kids play area and splash pad plus the new Oscoda observation pier! Get your morning coffee, pastries or breakfast sandwich right across the street at the local coffee shop. Within 1-2 blocks you'll find multiple ice cream shops, bars, restaurants, quaint shopping and a movie theater! A new bike and walking path is also only 2 blocks away! Don't forget the surrounding areas...East Tawas, AuSable River hiking and rafting, Lumberman's and Canoer's Monuments, Alpena and more are all just a short drive away!

Walk in the front door and to the left you'll see the beautifully remodeled living room with a large screen TV and plenty of seating. To the right is the oversized kitchen (table seats 10!) fully stocked with everything you need to prepare meals for your group (plus a gas BBQ outside). There's even a second refrigerator in the garage in case you need the extra space.

The home includes 5 bedrooms and sleeps 13. There is a queen bedroom on the main level with an ensuite bathroom. Upstairs, you'll find 4 additional bedrooms. New flooring has been installed throughout the second floor and you'll find wall mounted TV's in every bedroom. Bedroom 1 boasts a king bed and a partial view of Lake Huron and the Oscoda Pier! Bedroom 2 has a queen bed and a doorwall to the upper deck. This room also has partial views of the lake and pier. Bedroom 3 has a full size bed and view of downtown Oscoda. Bedroom 4 includes a bunk bed with a full size on the bottom and twin on top as well as a second full size bed allowing you to sleep 5 in this bedroom.

No need to overpack...the laundry room includes a full size washer/dryer plus iron and ironing board! We provide all the bed linens and plenty of towels as well (even beach towels!).

There is one full bath on the main level (including a bathtub) and one 3/4 bath upstairs (shower only - no bathtub). The shower was remodeled in 2026 with beautiful tile! Additionally, a newly added shower can be found in the breezeway which is perfect for washing off the sand and sunscreen before coming in the house!

Need some room to spread out? The updated basement has 2 large reclining sofas, a big screen TV and a dining table (perfect for a game night!).

Rest and relax outside on the beautiful grounds with new landscaping! Enjoy the front porch seating and catch a glimpse of the sunset! Head to the back yard and you'll find a deck with ample seating and views of Lake Huron and the Pier. There is also lighted seating under the deck if you are looking for some shade. Two brand new brick paved patio's have been added in the back yard as well as a new fire pit! The backyard is fully fenced in making it easier when traveling with young children.
