SPECIAL SNOWBIRD SHORT TERM LEASES AVAILABLE. Relax with the whole group at this peaceful home in central Gulf Shores. You’ll be in the quiet, older neighborhood in town that’s in the soon to be made entertainment district. A few blocks from Meyer Park where there are basketball courts and soccer/football intramural sports during the week, and a ten minute walk from Big Beach Brewery and a few restaurants and a cool coffee shop. 7 minute drive to the nearest public beach access and The Hangout.

Spaces:

Master bedroom has its own bath and closet. Guest bedroom one on the corner has a queen bed and closet. Guest room three has the same. There’s a full bathroom across the hall from bedroom three.

The living space and kitchen are open. Kitchen is fully equipped for cooking and there’s a large farmhouse dinner table for the whole group.

Animals are allowed depending on breed. 30$/night for 1 pet, additional $20/night for more than one pet. Please consult me.

If you’re interested in renting long term in the winter months (snowbirds or otherwise) please contact me about discounted rates.

Neighborhood:

This is the old neighborhood of Gulf Shores where front porches face the streets and everyone walks and bikes around. It’s a quiet area away from the rush of HWY 59 and the beach road traffic. There’s an easy access road through the state park to get to the beaches that doesn’t require you getting into the heavy traffic and condo areas of that part of town. Just ask me!

There’s a great park in the neighborhood and amenities within walking distance. Let me know any questions about what’s close or check my guide book. Seven minute drive to the beach and less than that to the Gulf State Park.

Loads of bike trails in the state park and around town. You could spend a whole day exploring Gulf Shores by bike and stop at any number of places for a bite to eat or a beverage. There are plenty of bike rental places around town.

Public boat launch less than 5 minutes away and there’s room for a boat to be parked in the driveway.

Please do not unplug or power off either of the internet routers in the house. One is in the master and the other in the bedroom across the hall.
Please clean sand from yourself and your family with the hose outside. It makes a huge difference in cleaning the house and the plumbing’s health.
Please only allow animals on the pet blanket on the couch. Animal fur is very difficult to remove from couch cushions, beds, and chairs.

The home was conveniently located in Gulf Shores and we loved being within walking distance of the local coffee shop, The Foam, and the wine tasting company, Isla Wine. The bed was excellent…had great night sleeps. If we had one recommendation it would be to add a large screen smart TV…the distance from the couch to the TV was just too far and we had a challenging reading the screen…the wall is definitely big enough. And yes we did not come to watch TV but on those rainy days it did get used. Overall loved our stay and the owners were very responsive. They even logged us out of our TV apps after we left because we forgot.

Clean property, convenient location to beaches, stores, and food. Plenty of room to relax in the house with lots of great sunlight. Kitchen was stocked with lots of pots, pans, and dishes for cooking which was appreciated to be able to cook and cut down on eating out costs. Host communicated quickly with any questions. Will stay again in the future!

We love Will and Alana

Such a cute place with so much personality around it, only thing we noticed that could've been improved was having cleaning supplies. By the time we started cleaning surfaces we realized we only had dish soap to clean anything we wanted to. But it was still an amazing location and we'd definitely go again if we could!

Our stay was everything we could wish for in a trip. The neighborhood was quiet & nearby park was a bonus. We were minutes away from a grocery store plus awesome restaurants for a quick bite. Unfortunately the weather took a turn for us during our stay. I messaged the owner for an extra night so we could finish off our bucketlist of things to do in area. Owner responded right away & fulfilled our request. Highly recommend for anyone who wants to be away from the crazy traffic of the main roads touristy areas but still be close to everything. Also, the word magnets on the refrigerator were a thought provoking activity each time you walked by the refrigerator. lol. We’ll definitely be back in the future.

Wonderful Experience

First time using Vrbo and we had a wonderful stay. Will was communicative and quick to answer any questions we had about the dogs we were bring. His instructions were clear and the place was a joy to stay at. We will definitely consider staying again when we return to the area.

A great home in a great location

This home was perfect for our needs! We had 3 adults, two toddlers and our German shorthair pointer. The home was fully stocked and we were able to make all our meals which was such a relief. Everything was clean and exactly as described. We will absolutely stay again!

Couples Trip

Short weekend trip with friends. We had fun. The house is close enough to the beach but just far enough away that you’re not in the middle of the major traffic. Plenty of restaurants near by.

Nice family home close to park

Will was super nice. He was very helpful with everything we needed. His home has a great layout for a small family. It’s just a couple blocks from the park. Our family enjoyed riding our bikes to the park. It’s a great neighborhood if you have pets. The streets aren’t very busy and there’s a dog park not too far away. Overall we had a great stay!

Our GO TO home

This was our second time to stay in this gem!! We won’t stay anywhere else!! It is VERY clean, everything is as it’s advertised, you won’t need for anything, no stairs, carport for the car, EXCELLENT cookware (lol, yes, we cook on vacation)… the owners are the friendliest and most accommodating people I’ve ever worked with. You won’t be disappointed!! We’ll be back in the spring, Will.. see you then!!

evacuating hurricane

place is fine everything was great only negative is we payed pet and cleaning fees and he asked for extra money after our stay complaining of cleaning up dog hair from the photos i assumed the yard was fenced in and that we would be able to keep the dogs outside the whole time but it wasn’t and we had to keep them inside which is why there was some dog hair. all in all a fine place just a small misunderstanding which was redoubled amicably.
