The property is beautifully decorated, clean, well supplied & in excellent condition. The kids thoroughly enjoyed the game room & we all loved sitting around the fire pit & several used the hot tub. We definitely recommend Walking the Marginal Way, (the scenery is spectacular) & shopping in Ogunquit & Kennebunkport. It was an excellent choice for a family reunion!

Perfect set up for either a weekend get away or a whole month! Has everything you need to keep yourself and the kids busy. Truly separate spaces if needed. Great location! Close to restaurants, beaches, shops… but far enough away to escape the Chaos. Highly recommend

Thank you so much for the glowing review and recommendation! We designed the space to be just as comfortable for a quick weekend escape as it is for an extended month-long stay, so it’s wonderful to hear the layout and separate spaces worked so well for you and the kids. We love that you got to enjoy the best of both worlds—close to the beaches, restaurants, and shops, but tucked away enough to truly unwind. We’d love to welcome you and your family back anytime!

Thank you so much for the wonderful review! We’re thrilled that the house was such a great fit for your extended family over Labor Day weekend. Our team works hard to keep the home spotless, comfortable, and to always be readily available whenever you need anything. Being tucked away on a quiet street while staying just minutes from the beaches and downtown Ogunquit is one of our favorite things about the spot, too. You were fantastic guests, and we’d love to welcome your family back again!

Delightful Skydiving Weekend

The house was so much fun and had so much to do. We absolutely loved our stay. It was close enough to the beach that our kids could enjoy the ocean, and the neighborhood was peaceful and relaxing.

We had a great time

This place is so nice, well decorated, clean. The teens had fun with the basketball court, arcade games, and we all enjoyed the jacuzzi. The location was great. Either a long walk or short car ride to several great beaches. Lots of restaurants around. Fun, beach town.

Long weekend with old friends

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Shamrock. We were 2 families (each with 2 adults and a child). Was nice to have separate living quarters to give each family their own private space and kitchen/shower facilities. Owners provided excellent contact and check-in and out were simple and easy. Property was as described with all the amenities we needed for a lovely weekend. We didn’t use the hot tub (it was 90 degrees outside) but played several games of hoops. Property was ideally located to Ogunquit and within a 45 minute drive from Portland airport. Plenty of food and activities nearby. Would definitely recommend.

Thank you so much for the glowing review and recommendation! We are thrilled to hear that the Shamrock was such a great fit for both families. Having two separate living quarters—each with its own kitchen, living area, and bathroom—is exactly why multi-family groups love staying here, giving everyone plenty of shared fun alongside true privacy. We love that the kids and adults got to battle it out on the basketball court, and that the quick drive to Ogunquit, local dining, and easy access from Portland made traveling seamless. You were wonderful guests, and we’d love to welcome your families back anytime—maybe when it's cool enough to take full advantage of the hot tub!

Congratulations on your Golden Anniversary! What an incredible milestone to celebrate, and we are truly honored that our home could be the backdrop for such a special family gathering. It brings us so much joy to hear that every generation—from the kids enjoying the basketball hoop, arcade, and beach gear, to everyone gathering around the evening fire pit for s'mores and music—had such a memorable time. We appreciate your helpful note regarding the bathroom setup, as guest comfort across large groups is always our priority. You were wonderful guests to host, and we would love to welcome you and your family back for your next big celebration!

We’re a Maine family who loves creating a comfortable, memorable stay for guests. We enjoy sharing the coast we love, and hosting gives us the chance to help people relax, connect, and make great memories with the people they’re traveling with.

We care about the details and want guests to feel at home from the moment they arrive. Whether you’re here for beach days, family time, or a fun group getaway, our goal is to make Shamrock by the Sea a place you’ll want to come back to.

この宿泊施設のオーナーになった理由

We chose this neighborhood because it offers the best mix of coastal charm, convenience, and a true vacation feel. It’s a quiet, relaxed area that still keeps you close to the beach, Ogunquit, local restaurants, and everything people come to Maine to enjoy.

What we enjoy most is the balance it gives guests: peaceful enough to unwind, but close enough to the action that you can get to the beach, grab dinner, or explore town in just a few minutes. It feels like a real getaway without being isolated, which makes it ideal for families, friend groups, and longer stays.

この宿泊施設の特徴

Our property stands out because it offers the rare combination of space, fun, and location in one coastal getaway. With 6 bedrooms, an arcade room, a hot tub, a painted basketball court, and an outdoor stone firepit, it gives guests plenty to enjoy both day and night — and it’s just a half mile from the beach, making it easy to enjoy everything Wells has to offer.
