I chose this neighborhood because it feels like real life, not a tourist bubble. You step outside and you’re surrounded by local families, small shops, taco stands, cafés, and everyday Mexican life. At the same time, you’re a short ride from the main historic areas, plazas, museums, and nightlife, so it’s easy to explore the city and then come back to a quieter, more residential area to sleep.

What I enjoy most is the balance: it’s safe and lived-in, with everything you need close by, but you’re not stuck in a noisy party zone. It’s a good base for guests who want to see the city the way locals do, whether you’re here for a quick break, remote work, or a longer stay.
