This unique place has a style all its own. Come experience a weekend or a week at the lake. Have a very nice specious 2 bedroom, full kitchen and bathroom that’s nice an clean. Just 1/2 a mile from Penhook boat dock. It’s a great place for a quick getaway with your significant other or the family. Downstairs is a social club to hangout with great people and play some games and also you can rent a boat, Jet-skis, paddle boards,and more.

Host horrible. Someone was in place

Property wasn’t as advertised. Someone living or staying there. We had to find somewhere else to stay. Host didn’t answer calls or messages. Horrible experience

Pleasant stay

The property was easy to find and it was very clean. It was exactly what we needed for our family of 4 short stay. It was a new listing so I think they were working out the kinks with check in. We would stay again.

quick stay

We needed to do some work in the area while checking out the area and it worked great for that. The manager was great to work with. It had everything we needed. Thanks for letting us enjoy your place.

DO NOT BOOK! Inactive listing. VRBO holding my money hostage

We did not stay here, the host apparently passed away (according to prior review). Upon realizing from another reviewer that this was the case, I immediately contacted VRBO to have listing removed and get my money back. I was told my reservation was canceled and I’d receive it within a week. Not only did they never cancel it, I haven’t received my refund, and VRBO keeps giving me the run around about when I will even though it’s for a reservation I couldn’t even attempt to use. Pathetic.

PROPERTY INACTIVE DO NOT RENT

It seemed like it would’ve been a nice place to . I was headed to Penhook for my mothers funeral. I had sent two emails to the property owner with no response. One immediately upon booking and one a week later. I became concerned at the lack of response as no check information was provided either. and contacted VRBO for help. I was told they couldn’t help me until 3 hours before check in time. Two hours before checkin and still no info from the property owner, i am told by VRBO that they would call the owner and call me back one hour later. I never heard from VRBO again and no info was ever sent. After googling the property owner I found he had sadly and tragically passed. Luckily i was able to stay with family.
