Check in was a breeze . I did honestly get confused with how to lock the door back , but figured it out fairly quickly into our stay. Kitchen had a full size fridge and stove /oven which was nice too!

Awesome nightly views of the lake and sunset.

Had a great stay at the condo, will be back next year. All the neighbors were great and friendly. Quiet and relaxing with a great view of the lake. We had absolutely no complaints.

Great little place, convenient location from Roanoke. I didn't bother to uncover pool, we were away most of tge time. The view was amazing. It would be nice to go when pool is open. Thx

Great spot!

This was our second stay at this unit and served us well again. Very well equipped condo, beautiful views, and cozy. Hope to stay there again on our future trips to SML.

Great weekend getaway in a cozy studio condo. Great views and located in a great area. Really enjoyed the cove the condo is located in and that provided some beautiful sunsets. Complex was quiet and very pet friendly. We're already planning our next trip back!

Anniversary Getaway

We enjoyed our stay in the lovely studio condo with a Murphy bed and trundle sofa. The condo has full size appliances and small dining table. There is a pool and you can walk or drive down to a small dock on the property.

Quick retreat at SML

Perfect cozy location for two for a last minute getaway. Easy access to State Park, winery and restaurants. Quieter side of Lake which suited us. Enjoy!

Beautiful sunsets / Wonderful Weekend Getaway

The perfect place to get away from the hustle of everyday life. Clean and comfortable, nicely updated studio condo. Beautiful view of the lake, deer roaming the grounds, quiet and peaceful. Loved it. Hope to get back there at some point!

Wedding accommodations

Clean, and what we needed for a wedding. A little noise in the evening and the curtains don’t close all the way so you have to get dressed in the bathroom, but the shower is great, and the pull out couch is comfortable.

Cozy, comfortable and beautiful sunsets!

Perfect for a gateway. We were first time visitors to Smith Mountain Lake. Condo is conveniently located near state park and marinas. From the beginning Patti was quick to respond to our questions about the condo and the area. Beautiful sunsets from the balcony and gazebo by the pool.

Perfect

Everything was great. The communication with Patti was very clear as to getting into the condo and access to the pool. The room was very clean and we enjoyed the view of the cove and sitting on the balcony and watching the fireworks.

4th Get Away

Very calm and relaxing - totally enjoyed the stay and the neighbors we met - best part of stay was the fireworks were only a mile away or so - easy to get in and out from firework display - the pull down bed was comfortable enough for me but got some complaints from hubby - the fan in the bathroom could have been cleaner and the light didn't work on the deck, but I am sure these were just minor overlooks that will be fixed for any future visitors

Gorgeous sunsets!

This condo provided everything we needed and was a great base for SML adventures! We rented a pontoon boat one day and explored the waterways all around the lake. Even anchored in a couple of coves for swims and floating! Our dogs enjoyed themselves too. We spent one day at the State Park which is very close, enjoyed the walking trails and fireworks over the water. We relaxed at the pool enjoyed meeting our neighbors. We always make time to visit Jake’s Place for burgers. We also enjoyed Drifter’s and Vinnie’s for pizza. Overall a fun packed few days! Thanks for the hospitality!

Best part about this was the proximity to where we needed to be on the lake. Other than that, it wasn't great. It would probably be okay for a couple & maybe 2 small children but the couch/bed is insanely uncomfortable, only some small kids would be able to deal with it. Shower is nice but be aware, appears the diverter was installed incorrectly direction wise so it seems like there's no hot water at first. Had to buy/install batteries for undercabinet lighting (realized after the fact that there were batteries on top of the water heater), I can understand the linens situation somewhat but the no pillows is a bit ridiculous. Say you're flying in, who's going to be able to bring pillows?? A lot of vacation rentals offer linen rental for a nominal fee, this would be a wise addition here. Despite cautions of a fee for leaving any food, stuff was left in the freezer, we got rid of it so we didn't get blamed & charged for it. Pool is nice but some of the year round tenants camp out all day long with loud speakers. (Others are very nice.) Laundry is super sketchy, didn't even attempt it. The decor is your typical leftover/thrift store style & the space isn't maximized to its full potential. Yv is miniscule. The front door is in terrible shape & sticks badly if it's at all warm outside. All in all, we were here to visit family so it suited our needs but it was way too expensive for what it is.

Beautiful Condo and Location

This condo and location are beautiful, airy, and relaxing. The murphy bed and sofa were really very comfortable. Although the murphy bed mattress was covered, the box springs below did have old rusty-looking stains on the sides (maybe from the springs/frame of the bed?). We did not see the DVDs that were supposed to be there, but we really did not look for them. We all had a great time, including our dogs, and we would love to stay at this property again!
