Additional information:
The cabin is located in a gated community. Please be respectful of the neighbors. Please obey the speed limit in the community, no fast driving will be tolerated.
Quiet hours are from 10 PM - 8 AM.
No parties or events are allowed at the property.
No parking on the road in front of the house and driveway. There is free parking for 2 vehicles in the driveway. Vehicles must be parked in the driveway, or in the additional parking area. There is a free boat storage/parking area less than a quarter of a mile from the house within walking distance.
Hot tub will be open all throughout the year.
You are likely to see or hear critters throughout your stay.
Do not approach any wild life.
The house is regularly treated for pests.
No smoking.
The backyard is sloped. If walking down the hill please be careful, especially if the ground is wet.
Check in is at 4 PM and check out is by 10 AM.
We will charge a $50 fee for every hour that the property is not vacated after 10 AM on the scheduled date of departure.
Persons making reservations must be 21 years of age or older and must be present for the duration of the reservation.
The house is close to Douglas Lake which is a popular recreational destination. Visitors can enjoy boating (there are 12 public boat ramps, the closest is listed above), swimming, and fishing (largemouth bass, crappie, bluegill, and catfish are commonly seen). Water levels vary and it is recommended to check the water elevation prior to your stay if you plan to use the lake.
