Visit a piece of Downtown Joplin history - the historic train home. This property sleeps 16 comfortably, and comes with full access to the inground pool, gated courtyards, exceptionally appointed kitchen, koi pond and botanical garden views, with a wine grape vineyard overhanging the main area of entryway.

Kitchen is fully equipped with two ovens, microwave & gourmet gas range. Multiple grand fireplaces, gentlemen’s lounge, and large living room on the main floor. Upstairs library seats 8 at the table and room for more downstairs in the dinner nook.

The Theater/Game is perfect for gathering to enjoy a movie or watch TV! Homes are equipped with most all essentials!

Very impressive home and well maintained swimming pool. The pool had a vinyl liner that made it slippery but was kept clean and maintained. They had one of the fountains pump go out so it collected standing water. Otherwise the gardens were enjoyable.

What an huge awesome home to host our family reunion. Pool was large and well maintained. (It did lack a handrail for the older ones). Kitchen was huge and pretty well stocked. Spacious living rooms and library. We did throw in extra lawn chairs that were useful. Was nice to see spices in the cabinets. The bedrooms were very large (except one) and only two had to share a bathroom, otherwise they each had their own spacious bathroom too… overall, of all the Vrbo’s we have patronized, this #1 on our list!!!!!! The pool house was awesome too.

This was an amazing and unique experience for our team! Knowing we would be swamped in work, this VRBO was an excellent way to unwind at the end of long days. Our host was especially courteous and patient with us. This made our experience so much more enjoyable and gave us the opportunity to connect together while having our own space to unwind. Highly recommend!

Great place in Joplin

We stayed here for my son's bachelor party/trip. Plenty of room for everyone, and the pool was a nice amenity. Less than half an hour to the casino. Would definitely stay here again.

Cute little house

We stayed for the weekend To attend Marian Day in Carthage, MO. The house was perfect for us. It was clean, cute and comfortable. The host promptly replied to our questions and very professional. Will definitely stay here again next time!

Enjoyed the house

Loved the house, enjoyed everything. Just a couple suggestions, 1) having extra towels available for the pool 2) the movie room needs to have streaming available, we don’t have dvds and couldn’t use the movie.

Attending wedding

What a cool property. Train theme stained glass windows were beautiful. Very clean and well appointed. Had fun with theater room and ping pong table. Wish we could have stayed longer.

Absolutely Beautiful!!!

My family and I traveled to Joplin from Houston, X TX to visit my son in college for the Spring Scrimmage! It was very clean and we felt right at home! It was so spacious and had everyone had their own room. The home had everything we needed! I definitely will recommend this property to others. Thank you for sharing your home with us .

Great place for family gathering in Joplin!

We converged from all over the US for our son’s wedding and this was the idea house to hold us all. The owners were very responsive and accommodating. The furnishings nice and that kitchen???? Gorgeous. The younger crowd loved the arcade. Admittedly, the open concept bathrooms were strange. The kitchen counters were a little dirty and we we really wish it had been warmer to enjoy the pool. The parking is great! Overall, we had an amazing stay and would book here again!

Weekend Conference

This house was absolutely stunning. We hosted our spring conference in Joplin Missouri and had eight board members staying in one house. It was more than spacious and had more than enough bathrooms for eight females to comfortably spend three nights without fighting over space or bathrooms. Couldn’t have asked for a more amazing place. Hoping to find a reason to rent again in the future!

Perfect for our occasion

Property was big and accommodating. Everything was easy accept finding it. It is tucked back and a little difficult to find, but it’s a diamond in the rough. I wish we had the history easily available. The charm and historical vibe really had the whole group intrigued. Thank you for sharing your great home with us.
