Nestled within the exclusive gated confines of SANDESTIN GOLF AND BEACH RESORT®, situated in the charming Laurel Grove community, this home offers a haven for relaxation. The inviting front porch beckons you inside, where the open concept living space welcomes you with its vaulted ceilings and an abundance of windows, bathing the whole room in natural light. With every step, a sense of ease and tranquility envelops you. And, yes, you can bring your furry friend along as this rental is pet friendly!

The first floor of this remarkable home boasts the kitchen, dining, and living areas, along with the master suite and a guest bedroom. Step from the living area or the master suite onto the back porch, where you can unwind and watch golfers navigate the course. The master bedroom offers a king bed, a large soaker tub, and a separate stand-up shower in the ensuite bathroom. Likewise, the guest bedroom on this floor also features a king bed and a full bathroom.

Venture upstairs to discover the delightful bunk room, equipped with games for the youngsters in the group! There is a twin/twin bunk bed, accompanied by two additional twin beds, each with a pullout twin trundle bed. This upstairs space also boasts an ensuite bathroom with a tub/shower combination. To add to your comfort, all bedroom TVs have been recently upgraded to provide full streaming options.

This home includes two golf carts a 4-seater and a 6-seater=—to make exploring the resort easier. Cruise over to the private resort beach, community pool and fitness center, or head to Grand Boulevard or the Village of Baytowne Wharf for some retail therapy!

It is quiet and just a golf cart ride away from anything that you might want to do. We played pickleball, fished the ponds, went to the beach shopped and ate. The pool is nice. We come to Sandestin at least 2x a year and always stay in Laurel Grove. I would pick this house again.

This unit ranks in the top 3 of the homes we have stayed in for several reasons. 1) Huge open family room 2) Rear porch with amazing view of the golf course and shaded by an oak tree. 2) Not one but two golf carts 3) Two bedrooms and bathrooms on main level 4) Very convenient to Publix and Grand Blvd. via the "secret" golf cart entrance 5) Easy ride to the beach and to Baytowne Wharf. 6) We could see the golf course pro shop from the rear porch, my son just walked over there to play golf. 7) The pool and gym were clean and well equipped, we enjoyed those as well.

TERRIBLE experience

Will not book this property again..dirty towels. Customer service was horrible to deal with, both golf carts were down, was so hard to get someone out there to come get them fixed, one golf cart died on us twice!! While being on the road, woke up to a flat tire on one of the carts..charged us a few hundred dollars for ONE new tire that had a “leak”, that they NEVER showed up with to replace, called them to ask when it would be Changed out, their only answer was “no eta”. So we were without a golf cart for 6 out of 7 days.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The house was beautiful and very comfortable. Everything was great, except for the golf carts. The four seater was fine, although a little dated. The six seater was not at the property for almost half of our stay due to “repairs.” When it did arrive, it was very old and really needs to be updated. It was embarrassing to drive around the community. I would expect a newer model, given the cost of the rental. All of the houses in the community had newer and more updated carts. We would definitely consider renting this house again IF they update the six seater golf cart. If not, we will probably look for another option, which is unfortunate because we really loved the house! We use the golf cart to get around everywhere in the community and that is a huge part of the rental for us! The reason that we started staying in this resort is because we love the different options that are accessible by golf cart. It is so convenient to take the cart to the beach, village, and marina in the community. We hope that the owners will consider updating the six seater cart to a newer model. This would make the house an excellent rental!

Reviewer Comments: We have a family of four(10 yr old son, 8 yr old daughter) and we have been coming to the Baytowne Wharf area for the past 5 to 6 years. We typically rent a house twice a year because our children love going zip lining, arcade, golf chipping, and of course Slick Lips! The golf carts that were on site when we arrived were very similar to the ones in the photo advertising the place, BUT both golf carts were very very old. One of the carts had very sharp metal on the back that had been rusted so bad that there were holes in the floor. The other cart looked a little better, but when you let off the accelerator then it would slam the brakes on. I don’t agree that the company should advertise nice, clean golf carts and then when you show up after thousands of dollars you get some cart that looks terrible, has rusted floors, sharp rusted metal that can cut your kids’ feet, and apparently has something going wrong with the gears. I know the company’s response will be “you should have called us and notified us” but last year when I did that they took the carts and we went the rest of the vacation “cart less!” Please listen to me when I say you do NOT want to visit this place without the use of golf carts and trust me you will be miserable riding the tram around. The carpet inside this house should have been replaced years ago and somehow this place has a huge fly problem. I didn’t know exactly what to do so I went to the Dollar General and purchased fly swatters so the kids and myself went on a “fly killing mission.” I have pictures and videos of everything I’m saying bc at the very beginning of the trip I knew there was a possibility they would try to blame us for the dirty carpet, flies, and very damaged golf carts. We stayed at a different house a couple neighborhoods over(still Sandestin) about 3 months ago and it was extremely clean, nice, and the golf carts were exactly as advertise

Too many broken down things to fix that made vacation very stress

Our rental was from last October 2--26, 2023. As your records show, this unit experienced multiple malfunctions causing us much inconvenience during what was advertised as a "relaxing get-away". Very Stressful!!!We thank you for the $100 compensation but do not consider this adequate or fair with the amount of problems we experienced.Here is a review of what occurred during our 25-day contract:1) Prior to our arrival from Dallas, I requested you to mail a hard copy of our contract. This was not received requiring us to visit your office prior to your closing time on October 2 to pick up this information concerning the unit, etc. This was extremely inconvenient considering our 775 mile 12-hour trip from Dallas. Our scheduled arrival was to be 9-10 PM-----a procedure we have done for the past 24 years that we have been renting in Baytowne.. We have always picked up a packet of entry information at the main gate at this late hour. My wife always gets a pet friendly unit due to my wife Glenda’s Anxiety and stress level, this unit was a pet friendly unit, which in the past she provided a drs. note stating that she requires an Emotional Support pet along with her so she doesn’t have emotional, and high stress level while away from home. Never did you verbally mention to us that there would be a charge for a pet, and you all never sent us, at her request to mail our written agreement by mail since we don’t use the portal. We never got our agreement through mail, you made us wait until after we got there just before check-in. It was a Pet-Friendly unit that was advertised on the website for Vacation Haven.2) During our first week at the unit, the microwave malfunctioned. Your service to repair/replace this item was timely and much apprec

My wife and I personally have been going for most if November over the last 5 or so years. We have stayed in nearly every area of Sandestin. Laurel Grove is our favorite.
