Come visit ESVA. 30 minutes to Chincoteague Island and 40 minutes to Cape Charles great for swimming on the bay or in the ocean with many eateries & shopping. Small house in a great central location on the shore. Onancock and Onley have many great restaurants and shopping along with the Onancock Wharf if you enjoy fishing, kayaking and boating all located minutes away from Down by the Sea. Numerous other Wharf's are located within the area as well.

This was great place, especially since we need to make our reservation on short notice. Everything we needed for ourselves and our cats was there and it really is convenient to town and shopping. It snowed while we were there so it wasn’t exactly beach weather, but it was cozy.

Short but sweet

The house was very clean and the yard was nice size our dogs. Kitchen was great for making breakfast before we left for the day. Would stay there again.

Very nice

Very nice place. Located in a great spot for our needs. First thing we noticed was how clean it was. I will definitely book this again on our next trip to ESVA!

Stay at Down by the Sea

Very comfortable. Very quiet. Everything we needed to make our stay comfortable was provided. Property is close to shopping, restaurants and water to make our stay enjoyable!

Nice Home for Business Travel

My work team stayed here while on a project for Eastern Shore. It is a good location for our project. GPS did led us to the wrong location, but the homeowner helped. The house was clean, and the beds were comfortable.

Excellent getaway

Property was clean, and the kitchen had everything you could need. Loved the hardwood floors, and it was excellent for children and pets. There were games, and a dog bed and treats as well. The place may appear small, but is actually very well laid out, and the yard is an excellent place to enjoy the children with games and activities. Would highly recommend using this place for the price. Much better then any hotel in the area.

Spent my childhood and as an adult with my children during the summers visiting my grandmother who lived a town over. She is no longer living in the area, and we really missed the area so much we decided to purchase a home here.

This property is in a great central location with a public landing minutes down the street (Boardwalk Landing). You're not far from numerous wharfs if you like boating and fishing and the property is large enough to accommodate small to medium boat parking. Onancock, Onley, Chincoteague and Cape Charles are some of the best towns in this area, all not far from Down by the Sea.
