The apartment's highly desired location offers breathtaking views of the Old Capital lawn, providing a sense of serenity in the heart of the city. Located on the St. Clair Mall, you can enjoy various restaurants and local shopping within walking distance. Two dedicated parking spaces in the rear of building along with free off-street parking on Broadway. Enjoy Buffalo Trace, Castle and Key, and Four Roses Distilleries, all within a short drive from The Selbert.

Pictures don’t do the VRBO justice. Property was great and in an awesome location. Walkable to many restaurants and easy driving to all the distilleries we wanted to visit. Very clean. The bar right below had really great drinks (cheap too) and the bartender gave us a great history about the building. Will definitely stay here again.

This is a fantastic property! We were within walking distance of everything in downtown Frankfort. We loved all of the restaurant choices and little boutiques. The property itself was very clean and had all the amenities we needed for the weekend.

This is a wonderful, historic and very clean home! So much character with the 12ft ceilings, working transoms, the beautiful woodwork! All linens and beds very comfortable and kitchen has all new appliances. The owner, Missy, was on top of all communication and responded immediately to any questions. There are stairs only to access the home on the second floor so if traveling with little ones bring baby gates that expand to 5ft. We will definitely recommend to anyone and plan to return. Absolutely perfect enjoying a small town, downtown experience!

Enjoyable Bourbon Tour weekend

This was an excellent accomodation for our tour of distilleries in the Frankfort area. Close access to the other few bars/restaurants in the downtown. Beautifully redone historic property and well worth a stay.

Wonderful

Family visiting for a wedding. We had a great time. The Selbert is close to everything, it's spacious, comfortable, and clean. Very happy we chose this property. Highly recommend!

Kentucky 3 Day at the Kentucky Horse Park

We loved the easy access to parking, shopping and dining. Going to the horse park was easy and convenient. We also visited Woodford Reserve. Property was beautiful and clean. Everything worked and we had no issues. Thanks for a wonderful visit.

Beyond Our Expectations

This property is magnificent. It is immaculate. It is breath-taking in that the ceilings had to be at least 12 feet, there are two stairs cases - one which was quite grand with a beautiful original wood banister. The kitchen is spacious and updated with a modern flair and the living room was big enough for all of us to sit and socialize at night and in the morning. The beds were surprisingly very comfortable and the sheets were so soft. The bathrooms were clean and the showers were nice and hot. There were views of Main Street from the bedroom and bathroom. The decor throughout was lovely. The property is very conveniently located to lots of restaurants, bars and shops and 5 minutes to Buffalo Trace and grocery stores. The host was prompt in all communications and went above and beyond to ensure we had the very best experience. I can't wait to stay here again.
