Welcome to Whiskey River! NEW Condo Riverfront in Gruene, the historic district in New Braunfels. Easy walk to Gruene and all that it offers including tubing, restaurants, bars, concerts, wine tasting, dancing - Gruene is a wonderfull little Texas town not to be missed. There are year round festivals and the holidays are amazing in Gruene. High end furnishings, mattresses and linens will make for a luxe experience!

The brand new complex, finished in summer 2023, is beautiful, but this particular unit is incredible. We re-painted and professionally put together a Texas Music theme to go along with the Whiskey River title and Gruene Hall adjacent location! 3 bedrooms, 2 baths, and a completely stocked kitchen with everything you need. The neighborhood is beautiful and wooded, and we’re right on the Guadelupe River. Gruene is walkable from the complex. Gruene Hall is hands down my favorite honky tonk in Texas, and the oldest dance hall in Texas! Also close is New Braunfels, which has a great downtown scene also! Finally, this is the incredible Texas Hill Country so there are state parks, wineries, breweries, distilleries, lakes, hiking, river rafting, boating all within a quick drive! It’s the most beautiful part of the state. We’re close to the Whitewater Amphitheater, either a 20 minute drive or sometimes there’s a shuttle from Rockin R making it even easier to enjoy a big venue concert.

Excellent location and beautiful condo. The beds are comfortable, the kitchen was well supplied and you can’t beat the proximity to Gruene. Close enough to walk if you wanted to but also an easy 3 minute drive. Also right across the street from Rockin R tube rentals for the river. In the evening you can faintly hear the nightly music in Gruene if you are outside but the condo is nice and quiet inside. We would stay here again!

Family and friends getaway

Long weekend get away to unwind as adult friends and let the kids feel like summer went out with A bang. The unit was modern and clean. Plenty of room for our group. A very quick and easy walk into Gruene and to float the river. Even allowed for a low key day of splashing and playing down in river close to the propert.

Excellent location. Walked to River and Gruene. Host was excellent and very accommodating. Provided very detailed information and was very quick to respond. Will definitely be back to this location again. New updated condo with cool decor. Was perfect for our last minute getaway.

Nice Place Close to Gruene

We had an amazing stay for my birthday weekend with my girlfriends. The place is super clean, I loved that they had a speaker to use, and it was really close to Gruene so we could come and go easily in small groups. If I had to complain about anything, I would say parking was challenging for us because we all came in separate cars and the shortest way to get to Gruene does involve walking through a field and up a small hill so def wear your boots and not heels! I would def return!

We wanted to bring our teenage daughters to Gruene to share Texas History and our Guadalupe River Float tradition. We had an amazing time! The location of the condo is perfect! The cleaniness and decor was absolutely perfect. We would absolutely return!

Perfect Getaway

Quiet, exceptionally clean and easy to get to. Still very close to Gruene, yet secluded enough to enjoy some peace if you need a break from the town.

Great Stay

The inside of the condo was just as nice as the pictures. We had a great Spring Break stay with our two teens. Walking distance to Gruene, although we decided to drive since we were coming back when it was dark. This was a great central location as we visited San Antonio and Wimberley during the week. We had a great time!

Beautiful condo! Accommodations were very nice. Everything was brand new. Gruene is walking distance but we drove because it was hot outside. We will definitely stay here again.

Great condo in great location

Clean, new home with all the necessities. Cozy beds! Cute furnishings with easy river access. Great spot to float the river, visit the water park and hang in town.

This area is classic Texas - we absolutely love the hill country, and we love Texas music. We’re super close to Gruene Hall which avoids the need for late night transportation or taxis after a concert, but we are also close enough to the hill country to enjoy!

We didn’t just live with the condo the way it was even though it was new construction - we repainted it, added wallpaper, and put in tons of personal touches to really lean into that Texas Music theme. We hope you’ll love it and take tons of pictures while you’re there!
