Cozy fishing cabin on waterfront 2/1 located on a deep & wide canal near Lake George and Georgetown. Chill on the upper deck and watch wildlife (and nearby humans.. lol) enjoying their day. A short boat ride to Salt Springs, Silver Glen or Jupiter Springs - it's all about the water and flip flops here! Bring a boat or rent one nearby. The Host will provide area info after booking. "Bass Capital of the World" fishing, swimming, and/or white beaches/shopping in St Augustine. Return from a day of activities to all the comforts of home. WIFI and International TV channels, so you don't miss a game! Well stocked kitchen for cooking &/or charcoal grill for true lake-life living under the majestic oak tree! Firepit and lounging chairs. Pets allowed (no restrictions) with a small fee. We have THREE homes on the SAME CANAL! Look for similar property listing names to find the other two. Host reviews since 2018! Nice place to stay

Nice place for my friends to stay on their way to South Florida. The canal in back added to our enjoyment.

Canal house

We stayed for 2 weeks. We loved the location. We rented a boat for 3 days and could pull right up to the house to load and unload. Loved seeing a few baby gators and turtles while sitting on the dock. Beds were very comfy.

Great spot

Great spot on the water. We pulled up and checked in all on the boat. No car whatsoever. Nice little spot and very close to renegades and a short ride to silver glen. Just wish we could have stayed longer than one night!

Fishing trip

The place was clean, well stocked the bed was comfortable and my husband liked having a recliner. Our only concern was it was cold ( in the 30’s) and it didn’t have central heat just space heaters which a couple needed to be updated. We did get decent weather and got to fish and went to ravine garden state park so we did enjoy our stay here

Fishing Trip Getaway

The home accommodated the 3 of us with plenty of room to spare. It was clean and tidy. The location was great. Even after fishing all day in the river, we still used the dock to do even more fishing. Communication with the owner was a breeze. She was quick to respond and answered any questions we had. She even let us check in early which was a huge plus for us. We will definitely be seeking this location again for the near future. Thanks again for the memories and an unforgettable trip!

Blinds were dusty,air conditioner in master bedroom didn’t work well and master bed was very uncomfortable, not a big option on pots and pans. Under the pull out couch in living room while looking for my sons phone there was animals hair,dirt,a marker etc definitely has not been moved and cleaned water damage on floor and the back door

Mold and things broken and not safe to be on.

Mold in the ac fishing deck flimsy not up to code chairs broken screws sticking out of the wood scratched my back. I have pictures to prove the problems.

Wouldn’t go back

The place wasn’t as described in the listing. While visually clean, there were areas that looks as if they’ve never been cleaned. I saw a couple roaches as well. They stated that I could leave my boat in the canal out back but there wasn’t a place close by to launch my boat, the closest safe place to launch was 1 1/2 miles away. I cut my stay short by two days and wouldn’t go back nor would I recommend it. So it wound up costing me over 700 dollars to stay two days.

LOCATION: This is quiet fishing-boating area. Has been for years and is the primary reason for guests to return each year. Please plan accordingly for your other destinations in mind. By car, St. Augustine, Flagler Beach and Silver Glen are one hour, Orlando theme parks are two hours. So, a negative feedback regarding location is poor planning on guest part.

BOAT RAMP: Drayton Island Ferry is 1.5 miles south & is free. Our property has plenty of parking space for truck(s) and trailers. You can leave your boat in the water your entire stay.

WATERFRONT: this property is a fishing cabin and while well-maintained with paid professional pest services, webs & dust can accumulate quickly. We provide a gentle -human safe - mint pest spray to use as you need. Any true issue should be reported immediately. Sugar ants, blind mosquitos, and mosquitos are frequent. During swarming seasons, leave lights off outside and near doors and keep doors closed. Do not leave out sweet/breads. Place in frig.
